It's a fun little game, feels like a Mega Man rom hack, in a good way.
My only gripe is the password system, you wanna dust off your graph paper and pencil like the old days

It's 100% Megaman. Unfortunately it is all the garbage parts that fans hate of the Megaman Classic games. The bosses do insane contact damage and a lot of the abilities are trash. It is impossible to tell what the background is and the walk-able parts of the Quickman clone level. There is no time to react to any of the part with the Quickman lasers. The lives system sucks because they used the formula from the early Megaman games where if you use your special weapons and then die, you do not get them back. Most bosses require you to cheese them with the special attacks. Hitting esc key at any point will kick you out of the game and saving is not in the game. You can use codes but it does not give you E tanks.
As a huge Megaman fan I was very disappointed with the game. There are too much pixel perfect jumps and cheap 1/3 of your life hits. The checkpoint systems are horrible and take you very very far back every level. The boss weaknesses make no sense and EVERY SINGLE ATTACK any boss does is significantly less damaging than if the boss simply walks into you. Which all bosses are 200% faster than you. You will get angry at the game.
