★★★☆☆ (3/5) Zup! 2 is more of the same from the first game—a simple, physics-based puzzle game with minimalistic mechanics and a heavy focus on easy achievements. If you enjoyed the original, you’ll get a similar experience here, with slightly more refined levels and the same satisfying chain-reaction physics. The gameplay remains straightforward and relaxing—detonate small explosions to move blocks and guide the blue square to safety. The puzzles are fun but still not very challenging, making this more of a casual experience than a true puzzle game. The hundreds of achievements will appeal to collectors, but beyond that, there’s not much depth or replayability. Visually, it sticks to the same clean, simplistic design, and the soundtrack is decent but nothing memorable. The game is very short, so don’t expect hours of gameplay. Overall, Zup! 2 is a quick, fun distraction that’s best suited for achievement hunters or those who enjoyed the first game. Worth grabbing on sale, but don’t expect much more than a short, relaxing experience.
