An excellent addition to the Wargame Franchise. At this point the content is so rich and diverse that factions and coalitions exist to fulfill any desired play style. Eugen please continue to push out these high quality DLCs. I will continue to buy them if they continue in such feature rich form. I would be delighted if Eugen decided to further iterate their Wargame Franchise. Wargame is currently the only game I currently play. And I don't think there is a game I have played more. I jumped in for Airland Battle and went back and played European Escalation. What is really needed to make this franchise epic is an optional matchmaking system and a way to peer rank players post game with categories like Sportsmanship, Quitter, and Honorable. This might help Wargame clean up some of the unsportsmanlike conduct that some in the community exhibit.

When compared to every other nation DLC in this game. This game has 2 nations for the price of 2 older nation dlcs or one newer nation dlc for bluefor..... IT IS ALSO THE ONLY REDFOR DLC And both feel very very different from most of the other redfor nations. They are possibly abit more unconventional. Some wacky toys in both arsenals make them standouts in their own rights, I also dont exactly know how to explain this DLC Yugoslavia is from what I can tell seen as the stronger of the 2 and possibly of redfor. FINLAND IS JUST WACKY AND FUN Honestly every base redfor nation has some very clear ways to play them that feel rather straightforward. These 2 both feel alot more open to mess with cause they are just abit more goofy with whats at their disposals. Both nations do also have coalitions, Yugoslavia can coalition with Czechoslovakia as the "Entente" Finland can coalition with Poland as the "Baltic front" I have to say if you and your friends actually end up wanting to use redfor this is a must to make your redfor experience feel whole because it helps you fill in more wildcard style playstyles.

Very good new units. Finally, something new for the Red Deck has appeared. In my opinion very weak airplanes and poor helicopter but good AA and artillery. For me the two new nations are good multipurpose role decks. Sehr gute neue Einheiten.

Finland in Reds is like saying Donald Trump is a mexican. Nevertheless I like it, now I can fight Finland vs. Sweden skirmishes and we all love our friendly neighbor the Russia, don't we?!

This game is great if you are looking for a sim quality RTS experience... but I wish the chat was moderated just a little. A few bans would probably go a long way towards a healthier online game.

Wargame has captured my attention for the last year because of its (gestures towards) realism, depth, intensity, need for creativity, and aesthetics. There is an excellent inclusion of details that most RTS games neglect: recon units are necessary to spot for less optically-inclined units, vision is based on units on the field, armor values are different on every side, different types of shells and multiple weapons on individual units, etc. The corollary to all of these mechanics is that there is a lot to learn, and that is what turns many people off, but which I love as someone who likes to research the hell out of things. Wargame is not a relaxing game: it's like playing timed chess and heads up poker at the same time, with sirens and explosions. When I want to relax I play RPGs or turn-based strategy games, but Wargame requires focus. There are plenty of dogmas and meta strategies in this game, but it rewards innovation and surprise more than anything. That means that thinking a step ahead of your enemy will do more than just micromanagement skill alone. All of this combines in a truly beautiful game. It might not look like it at first glance, but the smooth zooming, detailed units that rock and careen around corners, and natural vistas are very pleasant to look at. Are there flaws? Show me a game without them. The AI and campaigns are poorly thought-out and will actually make you /worse/ at the multiplayer, which is the only enduring gameplay mode; some seemingly simple functionality has not yet been added; helicopters have some serious problems; and the developer cashed in on pay-to-win DLC. But these drawbacks do not in any way interfere with the core advantages of the game. In summation, this is a very niche game, and it is understandably not for everyone. But you can't deny that it is best-in-class at what it does.

Superb addition from Eugen!. What Eugen needs to do is continue adding nations. This will do two things, 1st, the more nations they add the more of an appeal the game will have with potential players. 2nd, they can be sure that the nations they polled to add on their website will almost all sell, and would be a good investment.

Yugoslavia and Finland are interesting choices for a Nation (or Double Nation) Pack, as they are about as far removed from Korea as you can get. But makes sense for European players to want them, along with the much requested Italy (a country often requested in Flight Sims as well). Can't say I play them often but it's good to field a different army from time to time just to test your own prowess against others. Some quite powerful punch-for-punch units in there as well.

Many original units, capable of producing powerful decks, alone and in new combinations with other nations. Very good voice-acting. It's pity Eugen doesn't continue to work on new DLCs.

How it Started (2016): Finland added to game as quasi-wildcard REDfor aligned nation to fight against NATO! How it's Going (2022): Finland officially petitions to join NATO IRL.
