I have 2 VIRZoom bikes, and Vive/Rift touch, 2 PCs, i7 w/ GTX1080 (please note, the dev fixed the problem I stated below. I say thats fantastic and shows they listen) We bought 2 copies of the game as a extra activity for VirZ, but we want to avoid motion sickness at any cost. Seems fine till you crash, then you see your body drop to ground, and your point of view changes so you are facing down and you raise up like 20 feet in the air. I get it, you are dead. BUT, PLEASE, make a option for simple fade out. This forced change of perspective and fast upwards motion is making us sick! I bought 2 copies of game, and we want to give positive review, but this is breaking a first law of VR, don't screw with perspective; causes sickness! Also, do you have plans for multiplayer? Thanks in advance Blaine

This is a great spirital successor to Paperboy and Im pretty sure I used to spend more than $10 in quarters on Paperboy nearly every trip to the arcade so I'd say it's a bargain. The game seems just as difficult as Paperboy and the "Sunday Edition" level was a fun change of pace. Looking forward to VirZoom support being added!

This game is Paperboy from the Nintendo/Sega days of classic game - but in VR. It's got some bugs still, and the movement can take a little getting used to, but it's a pretty awsome game so far that I expect to get my money's worth out of.

If you like Paperboy, get this. Here are my issues: - You can't steer sharply. - Cars are too fast and nearly unavoidable. - Brakes don't seem to work. - Papers don't fly far enough, so you have to be on the sidewalk. You can't throw from the street easily. - Each level seems pretty much the same.

IMO, If you loved paperboy in the days of old, do yourself a favor and get this if you have a vive/oculus and the appropriate motion controls. I was expecting another failed attempt at stealing an idea from an old game, and not putting any work or love in on getting it right. It could've been an easy cash grab. But no, this game is great, has good graphics, the controls feel right, and it's challenging. The people who made this game love paperboy, you can tell and it shows in the entire presentation. I like how holding both the handle bars slows you down. Holding one lets you steer with that hand, and throw the newspapers with the free hand. I love this game. It's the perfect blend of nostalgia and gameplay that remembers where they are borrowing from, and do their best to put you there and like never before. 9/10

+Paper Boy VR +Nice Graphics -Way too buggy -Not enough areas 2/5 This game is exactly like Paperboy NES, if Paperboy was shorter, and unfinished feeling. I really want to be able to recommend this game. BUT A lot of times the rounds will start and the bike moved 3 ft ahead of where you originally were, when you grab the paper, it's hit or miss, sometimes you'll get it sometimes you wont. Until this game gets some updates, fixes some bugs, and feels like a finished game I can not recommend this. For better or worse, this game really nails that Paperboy feel. It is fun, quirky, and has a fairly steep learning curve. It was just as frustrating for me as the gameboy game, but over time I got better and started really enjoying myself. I'm looking forward to additional game mode(s), but so far I would say this is a fair amount of content for the price. The original Paperboy was probably 20-30 bucks. I'm having enough fun playing this that I might just go out and buy a second-hand excercise bike so I can have actual handlebars to rest my controllers on and that way I can burn some calories while playing and increase immersion. My compliments to the developers, this feels like a labor of love. https://youtu.be/opCwRQzPGTg

great concept but gave me extreme motion sickness afterwards, you cannot made a vr game entirely around moving extremely quickly

Fun game. Riding the bike feels good and throwing papers feels good though they are a bit heavier than i'd like. Riding past mailboxes and loading a paper into them without slowing down feels badass. The game plays EXACTLY like Paperboy on the NES which is great if that is what you are looking for. The game centers on learning the pattern of the level (when cars come, which houses have dogs) and delivering to an ever increasing amount of houses along the street. You eventually move on to new neighborhoods with new obsticles to learn. The game in its current form is very fleshed out and gives you a lot to do as long as you consider what the core game is. If you think delivering papers on a virtual bike is boring, this game won't change your mind. If you want to relive the days of delivering papers on your bike, or found Paperboy on the NES fun, it s quite good.
