This game is intresting cute and fun, I love playing it.... but I can't get past past the whack-a-mole level two, and no, its not becuase I'm bad at it but rather the destroy button works inconsistently. There are still 6 other levels but a of now I'm stuck. Worth the money though.

I was so happy to see this get Greenlit, I thought "I'll just go and play for 10 minutes" to see if it lived up to what I hoped it would be... 1 and a half hours later... and I'm still playing, totally hooked, great job Devs! :D

Looks like it could be a fun ecosystem management simulator, but instead it's just a clicker game with obnoxious sound effects.

So, in order to play, you have to go through the title screen which is watching 6 trees grow out of the ground, 1 at a time and some rabbit moving around. Then you have the title of the game dispayed for 5 seconds.
If you think that's not important, just wait.
I went through a few scenarios: "Click these carrots and make them grow" "click these eggs to make them grow" etc.
Takes about 5 minutes each, but in between, you have to wait for the title screen to do its thing each time.
The third scenario was this wierd "whack a mole" game that seemed really out of place. It was at night, in water and I was clicking on moles. .... Okaaayyy
Maddened by the fact that I was playing more "title screen" and loading screens then the game, I tried sandbox mode in the hopes I could get more out of it. Fish and butterflies I think.
At least, that's what ened up on my island. Fish, bugs, butterflies, and not much else.
If you delete trees, that's it, no getting them back.
I tried going back to the scenarios to see if I missed a tutorial or something on how to get different things on my island. I had managed to pick up a carrot and placed it on my island in sandbox mode, maybe the same could be done for trees?
Maybe I needed to scare away fish for rabbits to come?
But the game slowed to a crawl when I tried to play the next scenario, spanting trees with squirrels.
So, a memory leak, slow, slow load times and not much to do until the game says you can. Nice idea, not so great execution. There are better time wasters out there.

After the first update I would like to dramatically change my review.
This game, while very basic, is surprisingly decent. Now that the puzzle like adventure mode is no longer required to unlock free mode this game has gone from disappointing to something worth getting for its' price.
The game is still rough around the edges, as expected of early releases. But if you want something to just play around with, you may enjoy this.

Really cute game, some fun aspects and a very relaxing game to play, I was nearly put off by the bad reviews until I saw they had only played a few minutes, I'm glad I wasn't, as you progress, the game gets cuter with some very nice touches of humour and more challenging, I definitely recommend for the smile factor alone :)

Pretty relaxing game with animals (rabbits) cruising around the island(s) of your control, just digging carrots and having a grand ol' time!
Nice for people relaxing with a glass of wine or maybe a J. Enjoy at your own pace!

Looked cute and promising (I crave a decent ecosystem game). Unfortunately, I wouldn't consider it really complete as-is; there's absolutely no ability to save (you cannot hope to cultivate any truly satisfying ecosystem in one sitting), menu options are incredibly limited, draw distance is very small for a (very rapidly) ever-expanding island on which you are meant to keep an eye on the whole ecosystem of. The draw distance problem is further worsened by the fact that some new species will spawn a fair way out on the water, and won't actually appear on your island until you go collect it. And it's moving.
There's also, often, extremely little feedback. This is true both of your actions - aside from deleting a creature/item, there's no apparent impact - and of the state of the ecosystem itself. The lack of informational panels only works when there are more sprites/models to communicate the most basic info. For instance, what are things eating? What plants are new sprouts? Which are growing old, and about to die? All in all, at least early free mode gives the impression of the worst kind of guessing game, basically just pouring energy into the flora and hoping that even does anything. Maybe enough trial and error would make this less opaque... except that there's no save feature, so there's not really any motivation to try and learn when your ecosystem will always be in the early stages, and the short view distance can make it difficult to judge the state of things.
I really wanted to love it, but even for the most simplistic of ecosystem games, it just doesn't meet the minimum requirements. I liked everything else: the controls are standard and respond well, intuitive enough to require no tutorial - moving around works exactly as you'd expect; the art style is simple, but adorable and endearing; the concept is one I desperately desire; the music is peaceful. However, no saves, no feedback and little draw distance just spell a death sentence here. Any sign of recent activity an I'd give it a second chance, but there's been nothing since 2017.

Good, easy entertainment. I really enjoyed relaxing with the free mode. Not the most advance game, but definitely worth the low price.
