a friend of mine had this for the ps2 and we would always get stuck at the big gator level, and i was sure it must be the final level cause i was playing for hours before that, right? right? It took me a little more than an hour to get to that level and finally getting over it. I can finally see what the whole game looks like

This is hands down the best Indiana Jones game, with maybe the exception of "The Great Circle". The plot ins't quite as solid as Uncharted, but the combat is incredibly fun. There's no complicated dodging, timing, use this tactic on this kind of enemy, in-depth combat that seems to be more on the side of making it way too confusing. This game, however, has a very basic combat system, that manages to offer a great range of variety. The Great Circle actually falls short of this game in this regard, because in that game, enemies can't take more than a few punches, where as in this game, everyone can take punishment, and results in a satisfying time of beating up on Nazis. Graphics are what you'd expect from 2003, and the maps are painfully sparse by any standard. But, it's more about the adventure than the side content (which there is none.) But searching for the artifacts can be a fun aside. Overall, 8/10, with the combat being the highlight for me.

Played this game when I was 4 on the PS2 all the way back in 2008-2009 and since then, my love for the Indiana Jones series only rose. Then I played it again when I was 14-15 on the PS2 and while I enjoyed it, the PS2 is a rough port of this game. We finally reach the Steam version only two months ago and this is hands down the best way to experience the game with its smooth controls, HD support, HD quality sound compared to the compressed PS2 sound vfx and optimization for modern PC's with high-frame rates being allowed. For the actual game itself, it's good at feeling like an Indy adventure filled with Nazi fighting, globe trotting and supernatural elements, but while the game makes a strong first-impression with three good starting levels in Ceylon, Prague and Instanbul and even the first-half of Hong Kong isn't too bad, the game takes a pretty big dip in quality from the second half of Hong Kong onwards with boring on-the-rail turret sections, a very rushed ending and the levels feel much more basic in design compared to the first three levels which felt like they had way more love and care put into their layouts. Obviously I still like the game as you can see by the playtime I have in it, but I would personally say buy it if you are a fan of the Indiana Jones series, or if you want a classic adventure game without any microtransactions or the hand-holding of modern gaming, but otherwise, skip out on this and spend your money elsewhere. 7/10

Seems to run okay, but the controls don't work outta the box. I had better luck with the ps2 emulator. Zero hassle
