It's fine...
Brawling feels scrappy and on-brand from the movies. I like using the environment to my advantage. Normal jumping around is fine, but if it adds anything, like the whip, it is jank! I died the most trying to make jumps I should've be able to do no problem. It's cute they have primitive contextual commands depending where you're standing (Use the whip here / use the machete on this / etc). Indi himself is really lacking personality, quips, or the charm from the movies. I would have said Harrison Ford sounds appropriately disinterested (As he should for anything he doesn't give a shit about), but apparently they used someone who just sounds like him. I've seen reviewers bitch and moan about having to start the level over if they die, but levels are short, and the game is well designed and fair in it's difficulty. I've also seen a few reviewers say they struggled with the puzzles... That's just sad.
This game feels especially "video-gamey", like... "N64 3rd party action-platformer gamey"... Which again, is fine! It's a good enough game, I'm just not that emotionally invested.

This game is recommended, with caveats. It's a classic 3d platform game, but rather unforgiving in its difficulty. The moment you die, it's an instant restart to the previous checkpoint. This is also an interesting play as a precursor the new Indiana Jones game. When you lose your hat, you can pick it up again.

I'm sorry but the controls just put me right off. what made me give up was trying to move around a ledge and I couldn't get him to do it. i tried so many times and despite checking the controls multiple times it didn't work.
Also you cannot save mid game. you have to complete it in sections.
It feels clunky and could ideally get a remake.
