Xmas Shooting - Scramble!! Reviews

-The game soundtrack is great. -Story is as good as QP shooting dangerous. (In other word, they make no sense.) -3 stages total. -Good Extra character for 100% Orange juice. Rate for the game: 3/5 Rate for extra character: 4/5

No mouse input support. No movement acceleration makes it near impossible to use precise movements. The section to change inputs doesn't actually do anything. The formation buttons don't do anything, making it impossible to attack enemies behind you (which is required at portions of the game)

You can realistically expect to finish this game in two hours. I'm not very good at cute 'em ups.

Essentially 3 extra Christmas-themed stages for QP Shooting Dangerous, with the same game mechanics and unlocking of option formations. The levels themselves are good and is essentially more of the same. Worth it if you liked the original game.

This game is so cute and wholesome. This is the perfect game to set the mood for Christmas! Thank you orange juice for making it! Love <3!

A really good "beginner" entry for those on the fence about the OJ shooter games. It's very short and has a lot of the fundamentals the others are based on, but at the same time, has a decent amount of shot types and difficulty levels. As a mainly touhou player though, there were a few mechanics that took getting used to, but once you do it has a few things that help set it apart. Very recommended for it's price, but if you're certain you like the OJ shooters, flying red barrel or QP Shooting might be the more satisfying experience.

Vertical cute 'em up bullet hell. Tight controls. Interesting formation, chain and focus mechanics. Good replay value. Cute presentation with cartoony graphics. Plenty of challenge. Easy mode isn't too hard, just slightly more difficult than QP Shooting - Dangerous!!. The story isn't that great and the soundtrack felt a little weak though, especially for the boss fights. Aru (Scramble) is a pretty cool character in 100% Orange Juice too.

A fun, short and intense christmas-themed bullet-hell shmup where it's main distinctions are: * Being able to delete all the bullets of an enemy as soon as you destroy it, converting them into more score. * Having 3 shot types you can switch between at any time, and a TON of shot-types you can unlock and purchase to choose in between before starting a run. * Some shot-types can give you more score for using them, and potentially getting more lives as a result! * A hyper system which amplifies your damage and score, and can serve as a temporary shield. Pretty fun experimenting with the shot-types and hyper-styles too, it can give it lots of replayability. Happy holidays! (We need more Christmas-themed games plz!!!)

A cute and quick little shmup, good for bite-sized play sessions. It uses the same engine as QP Shooting! Dangerous, as well as some enemies, but has new stages and bosses to fight through. If you enjoyed QP Shooting! Dangerous, think of this as a snack size version, with a slightly more snack-sized prized. Also it's 100% Orange Juice DLC that happens to have a game attached to it, so there's that.
