A worthwhile add-on to Motorsport Manager.
As well as all the advertised features, there are improvements all round. Things like tool-tips for driver stats and a easier to read car settings between stints make things better.

Not too different to the defult open wheel series. the addition of ERS is a welcomed one, and it does add to the game's replayability. Overall a good dlc.

I bought the game and the DLC and no matter what I do I can't access it. Steam sends you to the Sega support page. Good Luck, if anyone knows how to make the DLC I paid for work please message me.

This DLC has absolutely nothing to do with GT Racing except for the car model.
This DLC could have offerd so so much if it had tried to immitate real GT racing (Specifically the SRO GT World Challenge).
GT races are pretty much identical with regular open wheel races in this dlc except for longer pit stop times and the addition of ERS (for some reason).
ERS makes for a fine addition but would have been much better suited to be part of the base game, at least you can vote ERS into the open wheel series.
To be honest though - ERS feels way too micro-managey to me. Would be fine for just one car but if you have two cars to take care of it's pretty annoying.
It would have been much better if you could have designated an ERS zone that the drivers automatically use ERS in or better yet if you had a "Use ERS at next ERS zone" button that would make the driver use ERS next time they enter your designated ERS zone.
This DLC is lacking pretty much everything you would expect from a GT DLC:
-There is only one car - No different models or brands
-There is only one car class - No GT2, GT3, GT4. Just one GT class.
-There are no multi class races - As there is only one class
-There are no driver classes - You compete for overall first place only, no AM, Pro-AM and so on.
-There are no endurance races - Only sprint races
-There is only one driver per car - Which also means no driver changes
The DLC is barely worth the 8€. Get it on sale if you want the GT cars or the ERS.
If you are expecting proper GT racing then this DLC is definitely not for you.

Excellent DLC well worth the price, The GT cars look fantastic and sound fantastic.
The extra gameplay options such as ERS, 3 stage qualification and car settings add another layer of strategy and fun. Its awesome fun using ERS to defend a position or overtake.
Plus the GT series coexist with the base game, allowing you to swap between GT teams and F1 teams. You also get the option to vote in ERS and 3 stage qualification for the Formula series.
If you own MM Buy it, you will love it!

This is an amazing DLC, and for youre first real DLC this is a great job. I hope to see more like this in the future.
This gives you more Gameplay options, like boosters and some new parts to make.
The only negativ think is the release of it but i think it's okay now. :)

The choice of "GTs" is just the Fomula car and F1-type of racing with a different 3D model, it has very little to do with actual GT racing, including sprint racing. Endurance is reserved for "prototypes" as separate paid DLC. There's no choice of different cars. You have to manage a two car team, F1-alike. Limited livery choices and customisation even with the free livery DLC. Only one driver per car. Qualifying is always just one flying lap at a time, again nothing like actual GT. Having to micromanage tyre heating as a team manager in a GT race gets very tiring and again has nothing to do with usual GT racing with hard wearing tyres and very wide temperature ranges. Series rules are randomised and can only be changed slowly step by step by voting during the season (again, nothing to do with GT). Sounds are meh for GTs (sounds basically the same as Formula). So ultimately this boils down to just a single generic GT car model and some UI bits and that's it. I don't think it's worth the 7,99 Euro asking price.

Short review:
The GT Series DLC is fantastic! Buy it now!!!
Long review:
Not only is MM the best motorsport management simulation, it is possibly one of the best management sim games ever made. I played the base game for 100+ hours and with this DLC I'll probably double my playtime.
The ERS system:
The biggest change is the ERS system, which really does add a whole new layer of strategy. For example, in races where the fuel limit would normally require 2 pit stops you can use the hybrid system to stretch your fuel for a one stop strategy.
Another example is saving your ERS power while you are racing in the pack, pitting and then using the power to set one very fast lap when you exit the pit with no cars around you. This allows you to undercut the cars so that when they pit you'll come out ahead.
More depth and strategy:
Overall this DLC further fleshes out the base game. Here are a few of the things that makes it interesting:
- The new cars looks and sounds great
- The pack racing is close and intense
- There are new rules
- You sometimes get the opportunity to pick which rule should be voted on next
- There are new drivers, but you still have the option of hiring the open wheel drivers
- As mentioned above, the ERS adds a whole new layer of strategy to racing
- ERS can be used in open wheel racing as well
So in conclusion: The GT Series DLC is fantastic! Buy it now!!!

Not really a GT person, infact i do not think i have watched a single GT race in my life,
BUT
This DLC is very well done, the cars do indeed behave different then the single seaters, and the whole thing feels very polished.
Add this to the HUGE amount of improvements, touches up and complete reworks of certain game mechanics and you have a very well made and thought out DLC, it also opens the door to other racing series in future DLC.
The only negative i have, is the lack of new tracks, as that would of been the icing on the cake.
So if your a GT fan, Buy it
If your not a GT fan, Buy it.

Amazing DLC! It's not just a reskin of the Formula Cars.
There are new gameplay options, like the ERS on the race, the tweak options on the cars are different, new rules, like the 3-part qualifications, new drivers, mechanics, teams, and many more.
And the sound the cars make... THE SOUND... WHAT A DELICIOUS SOUND!
I loved it. I really hope they continue supporting the game like this, and bring us much more content!
