This forest scenery is very well made with many details and it's fun to explore, BUT please expand it and make it a bigger map! ALSO in order to really enjoy this VR-Experience you should have a gtx 1660 or better!

1 - No antialiasing, so no matter what resolution you have on your hmd (i have a Pimax), it's a flicker party everywhere (TAA i suggest, post-process AA like fxaa and smaa never worked well in VR) 2 - blue boundaries are very distracting, you should lower the visibility range (or hide completely) 3 - no options, even the most fundamental, at least supersampling (and antialiasing) should be present, reset hmd position too, i'm above the floor. 4 - You have to go to desktop to set walking option (i can live with that) 5 - crashed near the wood house (after right turn, near the water sound) 6 - too many birds sounds on the forest, they never shut up

The scenery is quite pretty but extreamly dull for the most part, no real hero pieces. The game is on rail and I thought that maybe that will work despite that; but I feel like it really takes you out of the feeling of walking in a forest with so little control of your motions. Sometimes it is causing a slight motion sickness when the predeterment path turns you without your control. It is cheap though and I guess you can’t ask for too much.

Played on Valve Index VR headset - works great. I liked that there are different types of terrain in the game: forest and fields, which are very different from each other. The forest is very detailed and realistic, albeit a corridor. Fields are inferior in detail, but it is a location that you must experience in "Freewalk" mode. If you walk off the main road, you will find yourself in a hidden camp (it is located to the right of the bridge). Finding this camp in "bicycle" mode is not possible. There is an alternative path to the forest from the camp - you go up the stream, not along the road. My advice to developers is to add more hidden locations like the camp. For example, you can somehow rethink the hut that is located on the hill.

It's on rails. Press UP or DOWN to go forward or backwards on predetermined loop at 5 km/h for 5-10 minutes. No exploration as in a hunter game but still nice scenery.

Unfortunately, this experience is very poorly optimised. With a watercooled OCed 2080 ti, I can barely run it at 100% resolution on my Vive Pro, and it needs far more supersampling to feel like not everything is glistening all the time due to the edges. Needs far more optimisation unfortunately.

Does what it says on the tin. You walk in the woods. Has good graphics. Has good sounds And during lock down, with a fan on, you get the wind in your hair as well. I actually enjoyed it more than i expected given how simple it is. Could do with some wild life though.
Experienced on Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my full gameplay & review here: https://youtu.be/F8WQ-caBnd0 This is an on-rails walking simulator that is meant as a relaxation app / nature walk. It's running on the Unity Engine. The walk itself takes only 5 minutes long if you run from point A to point B, but obviously, it's not meant to be played that way. You should stop & smell the roses in this game (may want to carry a bouquet of roses in your hands for the ultimate in mixed reality gaming). There are much better games of this type, including Myrdalssandur, Iceland VR. However, this game is bargain-priced. I did experience low frame rates and pop-in issues on my 1060 GTX, but I am below the recommended specs. In fact, an RTX 2080 is recommended. Also, while you can use motion controllers, you're only using them as a joystick. I would recommend a gamepad or just the keyboard as you can only move forward, back, or stop on the pre-determined path. It is a pretty game. I wish I could play a VR game in this map (only much larger than this map). The light & shadows look especially good. The textures are decent too. The sound mix is okay. I mean the sounds are appropriate for this type of game, but it's not anything special. The game is only $2 USD (I bought it on sale 10% off) and part of the profits go to COVID-19 relief efforts. So if you want a little nature walk in VR, why not? It's good enough. It's just not Myrdalssandur, Iceland VR good. No shame in that I guess. Rate 5/10. Would have rated this higher just a year ago.

I live next to a wood. It's a nice place to relax, but going there requires me to put on pants, which isn't happening today. This is a good representation of a virtual wood, or vwood, with nobody to enforce arbitrary 'forest' dress-codes. The rail based system is a bit nauseating at times as it jerks your vision. There are some pop-ins and the sounds of the fields are not very convincing. For me it is worth the purchase price. I hope the dev(s) expand on the concept beyond unity base features in a future game. I'm gladly supporting a dev with what amounts to the price of a coffee.

The scenery may be somewhat impressive, however the VR implementation lacks a lot. The camera is locked on a set path. This also means that even small movements of your head is not translated into the game, this leads to some strange motion sickness feeling, like when watching 360 movies in VR. You start at one end of the path, and only via holding a button can you reach the other end 5mins or so away. This is rather annoying. A few shortcuts or some way to travel faster would have been better. The graphics look better on a screen than in a headset. This is due to the fact that the scenes have moving plants and huge differences in light. This leads one to easly spot that one is caught inside a VR headset. Eg. the experience is not tuned to VR. All in all this feels like some spent some time in Unity creating a nice looking forest. Then followed a short tutorial on youtube to add the simplest form of VR, to barely make it a VR experience. Add to it that this app was pushed on Facebook using a sad story about a company trying to recoup some losses after investing in this "project" and the fact that the developer has since posted NOTHING in the thread or on steam discussions... I think this is just a scam to get some money from VR enthusiasts with the least work as possible.
