Simple puzzler with a very cool aesthetic, only single player though and lacks a local scoreboard!

VR at its finest. Knows the format, knows the limitation. Endlessly fun and challenging. Delightful to look at. 70s future.

This game really is mindblowingly awesome, even if it's a simple idea based on Tetris. But this is truly 3D and greatly benefits from VR. It's also hard, and might be great for some visual cognitive stimulation and training, lol. Officially the Index and Vive are supported, but it's probably only Vive, thus Knuckles are shown as Wands, but work perfectly.
This game feels like the one and only true Tetris VR.
The game may not be greatly optimized though, got reprojections with res 250% in 120 Hz, but solid 120 fps with res 200%. That's using a oc'ed RTX 3090, i9 10900K and 32GB 3200MHz. This looks like a simple game, not sure why it's performing worse than Alyx, lol. Not sure a high level of ss is very important in this game, it didn't look bad with Index res 100%. Achieving solid 120 fps by reducing res indicates that this game might not need a fast cpu, while a fast gpu may be needed (depending on how much ss you want).
Btw, I guess this game is for those who ate all their veggies as kids and grew big healthy brains, not sure I did, sigh ;-)
The colors are really awesome - never seen anything like it in VR, can't be properly shown in 2D image and trailer, and feel more like some kind of illuminated/volumetric fog in-game.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU OWN OR EVER WILL OWN AN OCULUS/META HEADSET.
This game has always been one of my favorite puzzle games to sit back and play. The music the atmosphere it’s amazing However… the developers are a$$holes who punish oculus users because of their far left wing political views. Not only did I have to rebuy this game on steam after they took it off the oculus store (I was never refunded) all because the original founder of oculus was pro trump but they also took away controller compatibility with oculus headsets. It’s sad when devs make a great game just to punish its users all because the headset you own was made by a company with a single employee that didn’t share the same political views as them. It’s pathetic just like these snowflake devs.

A great, polished, VR puzzle game. I'm surprised that it is not already way more popular on Steam. Think of Tetris for the game flow, with Thumper / Rez aesthetic. If you like what you see from the teaser and still wonder, just buy it. On a side note, it could benefit from more game modes. But it's really the kind of games i want to see more in VR.

Just a warning, this game does NOT properly support Index or Oculus, like it might make you think.
I don't entirely know what it's like on Index, but users can let you know.
As a Quest 2 user, I can say it's weird and inconvenient, but you can make it work.
It's unclear what it wants, but you basically move the analog sticks in the direction of the buttons, then press the stick to activate the button input.
It's also a little pricey, and almost never on sale.
Now onto the good stuff.
It has great visual design, it's simple, but has depth and high replay value.

I played this game on PSVR at IndieCade East years ago when VR was just coming out. This game blew me away with how well the game feel is polished and immersive. To this day it's still my favorite VR game as it doesn't rely on being gimmicky to have an awesome experience. I now own it on PC and play it with a PS4 controller and my Rift. I absolutely recommend playing SUPERHYPERCUBE! You don't want to miss out on this one.

Valve Index Users - Buyer Beware
This game advertizes support for Valve Index, however the in-game controllers look like Vive Wands which is very counter intuitive and looks and feels wrong. It does not appear to have ANY native Index support at all.

This game has a really cool look and is a lot of fun to play.
The game works on Rift through SteamVR. I did have some early issues getting the audio to play through the headset, but I just changed all the options in the SteamVR to the Rift Audio and it works fine now.
Touch controllers buttons are not mapped properly and should not be used as a gamepad. I am not sure if this possible is change via some outside setting, but it is better to use a regular gamepad. I used an Xbox controller and it worked fine.

Yeah, I can't recommend this game now in 2024 (almost 2025). This was released in 2017 and we were more forgiving of VR games back then. Thankfully, we have higher standards now. This is a repetitive puzzle game. You have the same exact puzzle over and over and over again. I got pretty far into the game and it was always just a matter of using power-ups to slow the game down so you can fit the shape into the hole in the wall.
There's just not enough visual variety and there's also not enough gameplay variety. You start from scratch every time you lose as well so the only reason to keep playing is for the leaderboard. Tetris Connected makes this game look out-dated and puts it to shame. If you notice a lot of the positive reviews have less than 2 hours. This game is fun for about 30 minutes. You have 30 minutes of fun. Then you realize this is just dumb.
Also, you're using an Xbox one controller if you want the controls to work correctly on the Meta Quest 3. Trust me, you'll want to use a gamepad for this game. The problem is that it's just not worth it.
