Can you update the Character hit box, movement speed and spawns.
maybe edit the character model as its abit weird sizing with that flaming arm when making angled movements / turning from enemies it gets you hit way to often.
I have every achievement on vampire survivors and played it for 50+ hours as reference.
these small fixes will really help the game survive with all these clones coming out.

Scratches a similar itch to vampire survivors but in a different way. Getting better with each subsequent updates. Knight is OP AF.

Great game, great potential BUT what the heck is that monster spawnrate?
Also, the challenge is only the first like 5 minutes, after that it feels like the monster don't increase in hp, speed etc. you can just stay afk on a spot even when a boss spawns, the bosses barely hit you.

This would likely be a neutral, leaning towards positive, review if it was possible.
Here was my previous review:
---------------------
If this game was Early Access, I could understand it's current state. But as a finished product this game is very rough. At the time of this review, many of the achievements are not working at all (kill mobs, kill bosses, etc.). There is no collision with walls, trees, etc. You literally clip under rocks and grass on the ground. You can walk outside the visual edge of the levels. There are no key bindings or lists of what controls do what (I had to ask on the discussion forums to find out how to dash).
With a lot more polish, this game could be worth buying. Right now there are way too many competitors that do a much better job of this style of game for the same price point to recommend buying Spell Cast, although I hope that changes in the future.
------------------------
The developer was quick to respond to these issues and fixed them nearly overnight, which is awesome. However, these are major issues that should have been caught with even a few minutes of playtesting and never should have made it into a finished product in the first place.

Still rough around the edges at the time of review for sure, but if you enjoy Vampire Survivors and want to play a similar game with a friend, this'll scratch that itch.

Good:
- short
- multiplayer
- interesting variety
- decent sound/vfx
Bad:
- short
- a bit basic
This is worth an hour of your time with a friend - even at full price.

Great potential, needs more updates and bug fixes.
The game has a memory use problem, when playing for 30mins or so on certain maps the game uses all the system ram and then starts using swap until everything is crazy slow. At least quitting the game free's up all the ram.
The game needs more monster varieties and maps.
Currently it's possible to completely overpower the content and basically play forever with no risk of dying.
Warning: Broken Game!
This game has design/implementation defects that will render this unplayable for many gamers. The game halted my PC, freezing Windows completely and required a hard power off/restart to recover the system. It takes deliberate effort to screw up this badly with Unity, and may imply this game is doing more than just be a lame ripoff of Vampire Survivor.
Spell Cast is a lame, bug riddled ripoff of Vampire Survivor, only worse in all respects. Such a blatant ripoff should surely invite some kind of legal cease & desist, but perhaps the owners of the actual Vampire Survivor intellectual property felt pity for the developer... regardless, this is atrociously bad, possibly dangerous software to run based on my experience.
From a technical perspective, if you could get this to work, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio, due to the age of the game, it predates the 16:9 widescreen gaming standard established back in 2006. It's possible they're marketing this towards people using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game is being specifically marketed towards people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. It's obviously not going to look right on a modern 16:9 gaming display.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 11 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
The developer is deliberately and unethically trying to scam gamers into paying them the gamer gouging price of $1 USD for a game they know is broken. Don't give it to them. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
