While this pack can make the beginning of the game way to easy, it only does so if you use the vehicles. You can get all of these vehicles later in the game so there is nothing unique to them other then their paints jobs. That said, who doesn't love Saints Row purple?
However, I would only recommend getting this in a pack.

Useless. Just colored vehicles... Oh yes, the most important one, the tank is imbalance, it's immortal. Not worth it at the start because it's kinda cheat

If you haven't played the game yet, know this: you WILL get STAG-colored versions of these in the normal storyline, but not until the second half of the game.
The paint jobs are nice, but the primary reason to pick this up is to get these vehicles as early in the game as possible (the end of the tutorial for the vehicles, and the first stronghold for the VTOL).

Recommend not buying unless you want all DLC, if so this is best bought with the Ultimate Franchise Pack or Saints Purple Ops Pack.

I am only recommending this one because the paint jobs are nice, but it is also some sort of a cheat because you basically unlock these vehicles right at the beginning of the game instead of being through a mission.

This is a great way to cause mayhem early game, since you get some of the strongest (not fastest, mind you) vehicles in the entire game. And to the people saying it ruins the game's balancing because the vehicles are overpowered, it's not like the game forces you to use them, you can have the DLC and still choose not to use the vehicles.

[b]Gameplay:[/b] You get Three saints row vehicles unlocked with this DLC, The Saints VTOL (A big Jet, that's hard to fly under bridges), The Saints Tank (A heavy Tank, that's hard to jump off ramps), and the N-Forcer (A vehicle, that I didn't even use).
[b]Achievements:[/b] There are no achievements tied to Special Ops Vehicle Pack DLC.
[b]Price:[/b] The price for Special Ops Vehicle Pack is $2.99. I suggest getting a bundle deal by getting The Full Package for $19.99, or Saints Purple Ops Pack for $3.99.
[b]Conclusion:[/b] As with most of the DLC for the Saints Row series, they're all fun in their own way. However, the best value is the DLC you use the most. I found myself ignoring these vehicles and just hijacking whatever was nearby instead of bringing my own.

Most of the other special packs for Saints Row: The Third are cosmetic, fun, or genuine expansions. However, this pack seriously imbalances the game. Much of the progression in the game involves getting better and more powerful vehicles. This pack disrupts that progression by giving you a tank and a VTOL on day one, making things like clearing out gangs far too easy so early. It's like adding a god mode to portions of the game.
The game is already easy enough. If you do get the "whole package", don't install this one or at least don't use the vehicles until you get a non-purple version.
