Barely scrapes through as a thumbs up
Seasoned hoggers will fly through this ridiculously short game. Puzzles are easy, story is so-so, animations are laughable. A couple of points to note however. While the random collectables are quite easy to find at a predictable 'one-per-screen', they do unlock some interesting info on a pirate that actually existed. Further, while hidden object scenes are pretty easy, they do have added depth due to the unusual 'scene within a scene' gimmick - where one object is actually a scene for its own set of objects to find. So there is a list of words for items to find, and some will be in different colours depending on whether the object is actually its own cluster of items to find, or whether additional work is needed to get the item you are after. Honestly though, for such a forgettable experience, where you can finish it in under 3 hours without even trying, and with such horrible animations, I really, really recommend getting it heavily discounted. Because if a big rpg can get discounted down to this price, you could potentially get a hundred hours out of one of those for the same price.
