Fun rhythm game, feels like you're an active participant in the music. Updates have improved the gameplay and I feel like high level play will be quite satisfying. Different from other VR rhythm games in the market, but is focused more on mechanics and timing than movement/dancing so dont expect beat saber/synthriders style feel - this is it's own thing.

A very unique take on VR rhythm game genre: using pistols to hit notes, while swinging your arms to change their pitch.
After the recent 1.6.0 update, the gameplay has become very pleasant and easy to pick up; previously, I used to have some issues with keeping a proper pitch of the notes, but now it feels like everything's under my control.
The developers themselves are open to any suggestions, and they are very active on their discord server.

I've been following this game for a while. I first tried the demo and it was pretty fun, and after the updates since then I think that it's a really solid rhythm game. The controls are easy to understand, it's just shoot the right notes at the right time. The ability for custom songs is always a good thing, because it allows for so much more fun to come from playing. Would recommend if you enjoyed Audica or Beat Saber.
I'm adding this section after a good bit more play time, and this game is still one of, if not my favorite VR music games (and not just because I keep on beating everyone's scores lol). The devs keep on adding new songs and some modifiers, making the game easier to keep coming back to. The recently added Shuffle mode is awesome for someone like me, being someone who can never decide what song they want to play, and the song variety is really nice too. I personally lean more towards the upbeat, happier songs, but I also love a good rock song, which Musical Range has both of and more. And the ability to make custom songs.
All in all, play this game.
