Abstract, extremely high paced, and semi randomized, escape room game.
This game is too hard for me - but apparently that's because it's extra difficult for controller players. This has been fixed in the sequel, so I recommend starting there if this kind of twitch/arcade action escape game is your thing.

In fact, the gameplay is very monotonous, where when you pass one room, another one appears behind it, but only a little different. The game itself seems to be simple, but spawning in a new room can give such a place that you will have to catch the timings. My opinion: the gameplay is addictive, there is variety, but I didn't really like the soundtrack
Attack Of The Killer Vines
Another solid game from Walter Machado aka Brazilian Indie Guru ;). This one is a maze wanderer pattern based type arcade game where you need to quickly move into an empty corner/edge of the screen. A psychedelic trip through vines and some rotating machinery. The game consists of a 100 levels/rooms with different layouts and ways to escape but there are times when the game repeats itself (you can get the same room 2 or even 3 times in a row). There are super easy rooms where you just move up/down or left/right and there are also more challenging rooms where you need to wait until your path is clear or react really quickly cause there is an unexpected obstacle on the way. The game and the gameplay is super simple on the surface but it can also be a challenge if you don't have at least a decent reaction or if you can't memorize levels. It is a simple idea that was executed pretty well IMO. This game will train not only your reaction but also your spatial awareness.
The game looks and sounds very good. Abstractly looking and very minimalistic in design and colors , which was expected from Walter Machado , but also beautiful in its own unique way. "Trippy" this game is and such style suits this project really well. Same can be said about sound design and an OST : it's not only "trippy" but also "gurgly" and "loopy". Like a swamp that just wants to swallow you whole. Drum loop plays from start to finish (there are also some other synths in there) and it creates an unsettling and claustrophobic atmosphere as you move from level to level. It kinda stays with you even after you quit the game. The music in this game is as minimalistic as the game itself and ties it all together nicely. The only thing that annoyed me was inconsistency in hitboxes : sometimes you can touch the very tip of the vine and somehow survive and sometimes you die instantly barely touching the tip. It's so frustrating when you're on a perfect run and something like this happens !
P.S. "I Just Felt Like Running" (c)
