Puzzles are difficult, and this is what makes Cogito fun. Basic instructions are provided, but the rest is up to you. As other reviewers have noted, the physics is well designed in this game. It is clear that the developer cares.

I hate almost everything about this game. The best part is the walls. It's a cool corridor that would fit nicely in a space game. It would be a small part of a larger game and not the entire environment you spend 100% of your time in. I love puzzle games but I can't bring myself to play this another second. There is no story. The control is terrible. The puzzles are terrible. The UI is terrible. I hate the elevator. It's not clear that you have to raise your arms to make the elevator go up and that's stupid anyways. Also, there is a sudden XY shift in the elevator that makes you feel like you are going to fall over. An elevator should only move in Z and never that fast. At least 2 of the puzzles are currently broken but I still wouldn't play it if the dev fixed these bugs. 1. Simon says is broken, I read another commentor who experienced the same thing 2. The sound bubbles will pop causing you to have to reset the sound puzzle. Maybe this is a feature and not a bug but it's a jerk feature. I feel silly asking for a refund on a $5 game but I am offended that this would cost money at all. This is not ready for early access. It should be free.

Did not know what to do in several rooms. No explanation of what to do given. Too dark. Too simple. Wasn't enjoyable for me.

It's been an enjoyable experience, not 10/10, but totally worth the price and fun, if you enjoy these kinds of little puzzle games. It consists of 6 puzzles (Possibility of more to come), and they're all different, some are decent and some are great and only one that I didn't really enjoy, some you've seen before, some are new and original and imo, the great ones are worth the price alone, but they're all enjoyable nonetheless, especially in VR. The soundtrack is great, the game looks alright, and personally I think the whole space ship ttheme is nice And the teloportation technique is pretty amusing, in my opinion.

2/10 Lackluster playtester mar this. I can put my head through walls. I couldn't initially get past the game menu room because I lost a part of the menu behind a wall. On the first puzzle there is supposed to be something written on a wall, which there isn't, but this was solved anyway through trial and error. I couldn't work out how to operate the lift because of dumb controls. On the second puzzle I lost a vital puzzle piece behind a wall where I couldn't retrieve it. Life's too short for buggy games. Avoid.

Tried this with Oculus Touch through SteamVR and it was a little buggy but playable. Not the dev's fault as it doesn't officially support Touch but I thought it was worth the gamble for the price. The puzzles are unique, fun, and most people will be challenged by them. For $6 you'll absolutely get your money's worth. It's a little rough around the edges but definitely give it a go if you enjoy puzzle games.

This is a solid puzzle game. It has a variety of very distinct puzzles from pictographic reasoning to note matching, environmental lockbox puzzles to simon says. The first set of puzzles is fairly simple (not overly so), but the second set that I am just getting into are a decent amount harder. It is well worth the price of entry.

This game was a disappointment. It was advertised as having "escape-room style puzzles", but only one of the rooms had this type of feeling to it, and it was not designed well. The game felt more like a chore as the puzzles were pretty easy, but in order to complete them, you had to go through a lot of tedious movements and motions. There is a simon like game which often marks valid answers invalid (I know for sure because it often happened on the first cube that lit up) Reset buttons for rooms (simon game, lighted cube puzzle, sound puzzle) were far from the actual puzzle, making it a tedious task to go back and forth. It is hard to keep track of objects that you need, because many of them keep their momentum in a gravity-less environment and float away.

Kinda upset at all the bad reviews here. I am halfway through and found the game enjoyable this far. It is a refreshing break from the wave shooters and "sight seeing" games. I did run into the bugs such as the simon says game but quickly realized that if you switch between controllers you have to start over. The elevator was also confusing and might have used a better explenation, but I just looked at it as another puzzle and figured it out. overall 8/10 Good Music, Cool environment Keep puzzle games coming Evan Downing it can only get better!

Reasonable price for the number of puzzle types offered. The game doesn't hold your hand or give much in the way of explanation as to what's expected in each room, which adds to discoverability. Well done grasping physics; much better than many experiences currently available in that regard. Some non-native English speakers or persons from other cultures may have issues with one of the pictograph puzzles, but should be able to reason it out
