I still like Monster Maze, after all these years. The shooting is just for fun, but it has great atmosphere and a decent length, for what it is. Rock on Monster Maze!

Nice spooky VR maze game. More locations than just a corn maze. I like the variety of monsters. I like the swing arm motion--it has the most presence and therefore is ideal for a horror game. Good atmosphere and sound--maybe a little cartoony, but scary enough. The jump scares were particularly effective--I'd have liked to have had more! This game is probably more fun for non-gamers and people new to VR. Reason: just one or two hits from the guns could kill anything. To rachet up the tension, maybe have the monsters take a number of hits before they die, with bigger monsters taking more. Overall, it will definitely make it into my Halloween party line up, and is well worth the small asking price.

Worth the 40min of gameplay.
Meant more for kids but simple shooting and walking around the level, no story.

Arm swing locomotion, headset facing direction movement only, gun shooting gameplay arcross 3-4 maps.

Found it enjoyable. A nice walk in the dark, for its price, is definatly worth it. Game has good visuals, gunsights were on target, so to speak. I especially liked the colors in the underground level. Overall I would say its a good game, but i wouldn't say it is for children, not from a fear factor but because of the ending which i won't spoil.

This captures the essence of Halloween in VR. I've been to many haunted corn mazes and haunted houses, and playing this gave me the same thrill without the hassle of travelling, bad weather, ticket fees, etc. I absolutely love the artwork and effects. Great sound ambience and effects as well. The locomotion movement wasn't difficult to grasp and it feels good the faster you move (you can feel the air move). Best played on a crisp cool autumn night with the windows open. Love it!
Played on HTC Vive Pro / GTX 1080 Ti

It's a cute, about 20 minute short asset flip with a Halloween theme. Basically any vaguely related kind of creature slapped into a maze and they go poof when you shoot them. Don't expect to be spooked, except for one or two little jumpscares. But... if you're a hardcore Halloween fan, I'd actually recommend it. The overall experience still was a bit of fun and the ending was more ambitious and atmospheric than I expected.

Honestly better than i expected for 59p but you wont play it more than once and it only lasts 20 minutes. There is better out there. I can't bring myself to give it a thumbs down because it is surprisingly charming.

First the bad: The graphics and audio are low quality. the locomotion has bugs. You can slide sideways or you take your thumb off the touchpad and keep moving. The volume can be too loud, especially in the underground level and church. The gun's aiming was off. Finally, the game is too dark and you can see screen door effect.
Now the good. This was a great use of arm swing locomotion, though I'd enable it for both controllers instead of just the left, ie The Bellows. I know it was just a novelty game in time for Halloween, but I really enjoyed being able to move through the linear space naturally and I hope to see more game developers make use of this. Since this was a maze, I had to backtrack often. In games like this and Island 359, you have to develop a sense of VR direction to help you navigate or you can get lost really easily.
Some suggestions to the developer:
Please work on the collision detection. If I lean in to look at a witch's cauldron, I don't want to be artifically pushed back as that causes motion sickness, plus it breaks my immersion. The same thing happens on maze walls. We need the hitbox to be smaller or something. Also, maybe use some more lighting effects from objects. Just putting glowing objects in an environment with no light is unnatural,

It is a very short and a very simple VR shooter game, which I believe is targeted just for kids. The graphics are decent enough to create a cute spooky atmosphere. The bad thing is that, locomotion is only head-oriented and based on arm-swing. However that is not a big issue, because neither the game needs quick tough maneuvers, nor is it challenging at all.

So I wasn't expecting much from this game. But I figured it's on the Halloween sale and it's only $1.49 so why not give it a go. The game lasted approximately 24 minutes. I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. I had some issues with the button mapping, but nothing that kept me from enjoying the game (press touchpad down and swing arms to move).
This is a spooky/campy filled maze where you shoot things that go bump in the night. There's an outside hedge maze, an underground psychadelic subterrenean maze, and there's a brief haunted house maze. The game pacing is brisk. The mazes are not all the confusing, except for the subterrenean one (mostly because of the tripping on shrooms visual effects). There will be several jump scares where you're supposed to quickly shoot the target. I never figured out whether it was possible to die. The guns seem underpowered as you have to hold down trigger for a second for them to shoot. The guns look silly.
I had fun. But I don't think I'd want to do the maze again. The whole click on the touchpad, gaze in the direction, and swing arms locomotion should never be a default locomotion method. I started feeling carpal tunnel stress from this action. It also made the game frustrating when it didn't need to be. Also, the graphics were subpar, but at least there was lots of graphical variety within the maze.
Rate 6.66 /10 Ending is such sweet sorrow *spoiler alert*
you shoot yourself in the head at the end to escape the maze
