I enjoy time management games, it's a guilty pleasure of mine, and GameHouse makes a lot of good ones. This one, for me, is kinda meh in general.
This is a well made one in terms of mechanics, some levels are challenging but not overly much so.
Art style is good and music is okay.
The story is not much to write home about, it's actually fairly predictive and kind of shallow, much like the characters in the game (Yikes). Personally I'm not a fashionista, so the setting is meh.
Lots of pretty dresses though, and you do get to pick from a good lineup of various designs.
Pricetag is a bit steep for me on this one (17,49 euros as of writing this), get it on sale if you can.

Step into the world of fashion through a time-management game : Will you make new friends and still keep your old ones? Will you successfully create new dresses without jealous competition sabotaging your efforts? Will you finally be able to uncover who you're meant to be and achieve the happy ending?
Truthfully, these are all rhetorical questions because this is a linear game where your job lies with making enough dough to pass the income limit each day so you can progress with the plot. If you like time-management games like the Delicious series, or the even older Cake Mania games, then you'll love this too. You can pretty much finish the game and get 24 of 26 achievements in about 8 hours of gameplay.

I bought this Game in the Halloween Sale and I must say that I am absolutley in love with it.
First of all alot of people might ask why do you buy a casual mobile game when you can play it for free? See the thing is those "free" casual mobile games are not actually free rather then freemium. If you dont know what a freemium is feel free to check out my Clover Tale Review on Steam or Blogspot as I described it in there.
The Game itself is a diner Dash game with the story elements of a Hidden Object Game. I personally fell immediatly in love with the Story and due to me liking casual managing games I also enjoyed the Gameplay alot.
Thanks to Challenges and changing rooms this game will not get boring, although the Challenges do repeat themselfs. The Graphics are very simple, therefore I am sure you can run it easily on low end gear.
There is no Voice Acting in this Game which personally didn't bother me, the atmosphere, thanks to great music, was regardless amazing.
Unlike the Delicious - Emily's Christmas Carol, the story of Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever is not comical but rather more drama oriented, a little bit similiar to Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal.
To my suprise this Game was a stunning 8.8 Hours long (with most challenges done) and also comes with 3 different Difficulty Settings. You can also make different Profiles with different Pictures. Which is great for achievement Hunters or Families.
This Game is one of the few Gems on Steam, especially Story Wise.
I do recommend this Game to all HOG Fans, Diner Dash / Casual Time Management Fans, Fashion Fans and Casual Players. I also do recommend this Game for its full price due to being 8.8 Hours long (or longer if you complete all the challenges). But of course it is never a mistake to grab it on Sale.

Let us preface this review by saying that our first introduction to the GameHouse catalog was Sally's Salon: Kiss and Make-Up. Perhaps everything in our lives will pale in comparison after that, but Angela's Fashion Fever felt especially disappointing.
First, the gameplay. It goes without saying that any game in this genre is inherently repetitive and simple. That's what we all come here for, isn't it? However, after the first chapter where Angela leaves her job at the repetitive time management boutique, there is no explained reason to continue working at repetitive time management boutiques all over the world. Yet she does, despite being in a high stakes intense fashion design competition that should be taking up all of her time.
Story reasons aside, certain aspects of the gameplay are never explained properly and often frustrating and confusing because of this. I'm looking at you, bird feathers in Rio and roses in Paris. You can't possibly try to explain to me why we're rubbing golden mica powder on a dress and making it gold every single time someone wants a gold dress. When it first came up, I spent an absurd amount of time trying to find the nonexistent ombre sunglasses in my store, only to realize that I must hand dip them myself. Enjoy the still wet paint, models!
Then there are the mandatory dress-making challenges you must endure each chapter in order to move on, while still having to run the boutique. These challenges are the only reason that I ever failed or had to restart a level. The box opening one in particular (which also makes no sense after chapter one, but I digress) where all of the materials fly everywhere and you have to pick them up one at a time throughout the course of the level but ONLY when it calls for a certain item, is EXTREMELY terrible. Even pausing the game and trying to look for the item covers up half of the screen, so you can't even cheat properly. Sometimes you pick up the item it called for, and by the time you put it on the mannequin, it is no longer the item it called for. And if you have extra hired help or lots of customers in the store, it is even more impossible to find the items called for, because half the time the people will cover up the useless item you need. The other challenges are annoying at best but never as bad as this one.
The espresso machine in Milan was the only gimmick in the game that attempted to have anything to do with the location you were supposed to be in. The dress choices, specifically in Tokyo and Rio, felt like strange cliches that had nothing to do with the appearance of the dress, and only added to the lack of cohesion in theming.
As for the sad excuse of a story in this game, one can describe it no better than too little butter spread over too much bread. This game is an excessive 90 levels long, with 29 of these levels being levels that do not unlock any story scenes whatsoever, yet are mandatory. That's almost a full third of the game that is just empty. As you might imagine, this is where the problem of pacing begins and ends. After each grueling level with something behind it, you are lucky to unlock maybe a full thirty seconds of story, if that.
As for the contents of those thirty seconds, well, they are weak, predictable, and uninspiring. The reality show itself uses almost exactly the same assignment every single time. Almost as if it's a reflection of how the romantic plot never goes anywhere and just stays at a vague romantic feeling kind of. The other contestants of the show make a dress each time that corresponds to their color scheme while still being somewhat different from the last one. These other contestants all participate in the story events at least a little bit before they are kicked off. All but my favorite shining star, Yuna. If I'm not mistaken, I believe she made the same dress, every single time. And never said a single word or took any sides in conversation, made it all the way to the end, and said one sentence before she was kicked off. And if that doesn't tell you something about the missed opportunities in this game, I don't know what will.
One of the main selling points of this game was Angela's angel VS devil system. However, this was very disappointing. What we thought might have been some kind of player choice or dialogue system is simply her internal dialogue about the situation. She never acts on either thought, though. You cannot make Angela satan, and you cannot make her an otherworldly being of goodness. And the game doesn't make her that either. She simply rests at the level of good samaritan while being a plainly horrible person to most people around her. Angela wrecks lifelong friendships with no consequences. Angela is easily swayed by the thought of fame and/or sex. However, she shows compassion towards the little Italian girl and Victoria at the tail end of the game. I couldn't tell you why.
Speaking of things I couldn't tell you, the villain of this game is but a skeleton of what they could have been. Unlike in Sally, the villain's motivation is never clear or explained, and it's even more unclear whether or not this villain is.
Was there ever a Truly? Is this the only Truly? Was Truly murdered? Will there ever be a Truly?
There are many questions left to us, and not in the way we ever want to be left them. Our heroine Angela herself gets a literal thirty seconds of resolution at the end that doesn't resolve anything, including the entire "will we, won't we" romantic plot that kicked off almost all events in the game. It feels cut off like an umbilical cord, rushed despite the plot never going anywhere.
If you are considering buying this game and have not played Sally's Beauty Salon: Kiss and Make Up, please change your mind and play that one instead. Because in Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever, there is no victory, no defeat.

Gamehouse does really well in the time management department. This game is kind of on the romantic novel side (romance.. betrayal... fashion show... drama... etc), but it was fairly entertaining. If you enjoy a good time management game, you will more than likely enjoy this one as long as you don't mind the drama storyline. Let's just say, you will TRULY want to punch a few of these people right in the face with their snobbery.
This game did have one hiccup. Sometimes when you were going from the trophy screen back to the game map, the game would just decide that it wanted a nap and shut down. It didn't happen too often, but often enough where I was starting to get annoyed.
The achievements aren't terrible to get. Most of them are just acquired as you play through. There were a couple achievements that were completely time consuming, hence why I spent 20 hours on this game. So, if you are looking to get that 100%, get ready to repeat some boards... A LOT. All in all, the game is fun and worth the money IF you plan on sinking the time into it to get your 100%. Otherwise, I recommend picking it up on sale either way as the 13 dollar price tag is a bit much when quite a few decent time management games are a lot cheaper.

Having been introduced to this genre by the delightfully entertaining Detective Jackie: Mystic Case, it was only a matter of time before I started looking into Gamehouse's earlier productions, and as an enthusiast of clothing in games, the Fabulous – Angela series was an obvious place to start.
Overview
Angela has recently lost her job and been cheated on by her husband; and is at a low ebb in her life. She is offered a job at a local boutique, which is where we come in, and the game offers a nice introductory level to help us get started if we are not familiar with what we need to do. Soon afterwards, it transpires that Angela's heroine, the fashion designer Truly, is holding a televised competition to find the most talented, exciting new designer to ultimately replace her - which will take place over 5 exotic locations (in addition to the starting point of the boutique) containing 15 levels each. Of course, Angela is hopeful of being selected to appear on the show. Will she get there? And if so, what will happen? Life is never that simple..
Gameplay
Is exactly what you would expect from this type of game: serve a series of customers with the item(s) and/or service(s) they want within a timeframe that keeps them happy, in order to earn points which you can then cash in for additional features to make your efforts quicker and/or more efficient as the levels progress.
In this game, those bonuses can be purchased for the duration of each location, such as an extra changing room or additional make-up table so you can serve more customers concurrently; or be repurchased one level at a time, like the magician who performs a trick and improves everybody's mood, which effectively boosts their patience timer and gives you longer to serve them before they leave in a frustrated rage.
Positives
- The story is told via cutscenes between each of 90 playable levels, and it is this which really holds the game together and maintains player interest. It is very well written and you will find yourself cheering on certain characters whilst pantomime-jeering others as their true natures become apparent.
- Aurally the game also performs well, there is a lovely cheerful introductory song and respectable accompaniments throughout.
- Graphics are right up to scratch for the type of challenge, clean and quickly identifiable as they need to be, whilst remaining colourful in keeping with the overall theme; and some of the dress options are gorgeous.
- Responsiveness to clicking appeared to be flawless. Even during my most frenetic activity, I never had to click the same thing twice to be sure that Angela would respond accordingly.
Negatives
- There are a number of additional “challenges” thrown in to many of the levels, such as having supplies delivered to the wrong place and having to move them across the room in between serving all the customers; or having to prevent an underhand competitor from sneaking in and sabotaging your work. These are fun at first, but are very limited in variety and the same ones repeat over; which makes them increasingly tiresome as you progress further.
- While crediting the developers for throwing in little extras to challenge the player, I feel that some of these additions simply don't work well. There is a mouse in the majority of the levels which you need to find and click on; but it is very small, often hidden behind other scenery so you can see only part of it, and it doesn't stay visible for very long. When you are really busy keeping up with demand, unless you are very lucky and just-so happen to look in the right spot at the right time, you are likely to miss it altogether.
- Most of the achievements in game are fun to get, but one of them demands you score 500,000 points in total; and you are not going to get very near to that when you have played right through the game, which effectively forces you into grinding some levels over and over to get there. An avoidable introduction of grind is never a smart move. Throw in the likelihood of mouse-spotting adding to that inevitability, and you have some player frustration in a game which could have easily been completely free of it.
Verdict
Overall, the negatives in the game are pretty small and pale in comparison to the fun that you should have from playing it. There is a lot of repetition – as is the nature of the genre, I suspect – but the gameplay levels are split by delightfully enjoyable cutscene story updates, and a desire to see how everything pans out should be comfortably enough to keep you invested until the conclusion.
At full price, this game costs £10, which might be a touch above fair value, but on offer (and at time of typing, it is less than half price), it becomes a bargain. If you like time management games, or fun stories, or simply fashion, then Angela's Fashion Fever should appeal; and if you like all three of those, then the question is, why haven't you bought it already?

This game was fantastic, did run into getting stuck a few times but it could of been user error too. The mice are VERY hidden, though there is a GREAT guide for them! It is on the longer end with 90 levels vs the 60, but minus restarting a few here and there, it went very smoothly. It can get very CLUTCH sometimes, so don't fret about re-doing or missing, the levels don't take too long to re-do.
The story was kind of cliche at times, but I found it endearing and cute. I have two last achievements to work towards, but they'll take time. I need to know what happened to Angela's special friend though, he was handsome!
This is one of my favorites in this series so far!

Point and Click Time Management game in the style of "Delicious" games but with a fashion theme.
If you enjoy the Emily games this is a nice change from serving food.
Angela, is an up and coming fashion designer and gets an opportunity to enter a fashon reality tv show.
Complete with villains, disasters and entertaining storyline,
- plenty of levels to play and many achievements to earn.
- 3 levels of difficulty to choose from beginner, normal and expert.
- use mouse only to play
There is a complete walkthrough at Gamehouse blog
I recommend this to anyone that loves casual time managment games.

I was very happy to see, that Gamehouse finally put some of their games on Steam. "Fabulous - Angela's Fashion Fever" is a time management game, focused mainly on, well, fashion - the gameplay should be very familiar to those, who played any of "Delicious" games. Besides serving customers (which does not work very well with the game's concept, which I'll explain below), there are also additional events to complete, mouses and extra item to find, plus "designing" dress (or rather choosing one from three different options, but it was still a nice thing). It has three difficulty levels, but even the "expert" one isn't particularly hard, to be honest - I was able to complete most of the game without help (you can hire other characters to make things easier for you) and without replaying levels.
If you like time management games and do not mind the premise, I think you will enjoy it.
What's good?
Graphic is great, especially for a time management game. Music is very nice and not tiring, story is surprisingly interesting
I didn't expect the twist at all
and much more developed than in most games in this genre (although most TM games from Gamehouse have a good story). I enjoyed the protagonist. Humor was nice. There are six locations and each of them feels different and plays a bit differently. I liked special events - they add extra challenge to some levels and connect with the story.
What's neutral?
Price. I'm somewhere in the middle. I bought this game during sale, for about 9€ and I'm happy with what I got (I completed this game within 9 hours, though I will probably play a little longer to unlock all achievements). Current full price seems a bit too high, especially when compared to other TM titles available on Steam. At the same time, it's definitely one of the best, when we consider art and music quality, plus all the heart that was put into this game, to make it enjoyable and one of a kind. If this game looks like something you may enjoy, please give it a shot.
What's bad?
My main complaint regards game's mechanic. So after first stage (where everything works perfectly, since you are a store clerk), you start to organizing runaway shows and... you are still basically a store clerk. Angela is suppose to be a designer, but instead she helps models to do whatever they want to do (dress up, do make-up and hair, add accessories) and then... they pay her? They wait in line to give her money? For what? Aren't we the ones (or rather the studio) who should pay the models, not the other way around? This system was pretty much copied from Delicious, but running a store/restaurant isn't the same as what Angela is suppose to be doing. There are much better gameplay mechanics for a games like that - happiness or style combos, as presented in "Juliette's Fashion Empire" (which may be my favorite game among fashion TM games). I hope that sequel will have some better mechanics.
Wishes!
It is all about Fashion!! And I love fashion!! This is the second game for Angela and the first on steam. The story is fun and easy to follow even if you start with this game (Although you can know more about Angela's background from her sister's games Delicious Emily)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=914352742
Being a fashion designer was Angela's dream, and what is better than joining a reality TV show to persuade her dreams! You'll get to meet Angela's best friends Jenny, Kitty, Virginia who I liked so much because each has a different personality. The game is story heavy as the other games introduced from the same developers, Delicious Emily, and Heart's medicine. This one is centered around dreams, love, sacrifices, challenges, jealousy, betrayals and above all, friendship!
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=914362711
I loved the pace of the story and the characters involvement, it was so entertaining to play through the whole game. The plot twists were really good and didn't expect them coming.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=915784144
Pros:
+Beautiful graphics.
+Cool characters.
+Good music
+Smooth gameplay.
+Steam achievements.
Cons:
- Needs custom mouse cursor (Sometimes you can't see the default small system cursor when the stage is busy)
It's a time management game with a story, I suggest you check a video before purchasing the game and also check the other games from the same developer. Gamehouse games are like a big family, most of the characters you'll see them taking a part in the other games and their relationships/connections are amazing! They are all fun to play! Been a fan since 2008.
