Much needed addition, but it was great when you discover Asia and they have the EXACT SAME SHIPS AS YOU

Although the price tag is honestly a crime and how this isn't included inside the main expansion, Europa Universalis 4 has made these purchases worth it. If you want a tad bit more detail in the game, wait for a sale and buy the content packs. The new ship skins are also BADASS!

The pack is very cool for the start however the Daimyo only last a few years which is utterly annoying and makes it seem like a waste of money. If it lasted longer or included all 4 tiers then maybe. In my game i lost the models around like 1530 which really sucks as it should at least last to 1600. The models all look great but are very limited in use. Also way too expensive.

Very nice quality units. The Japanese daimyos look very slick, boats are also good along with the nomads. Overall a good buy, really adds some induviduality to the Asian area.

After I bought the newest model DLC, I had finally realized how suck this DLC is Exactly, all models are ok and even good for Korean and Japanese models, but I have no idea that how Paradox made such a 'fancy' style of Ming. The armor of the first Ming model is ok but it can be just simply equipped with a spear, second one is ok, for the third one, Ming army did recorded to be wearing such a red helmet (but more sharp and painted a '勇' character above), however it should not be decorated feather(?) on it and it's armor are just unhistorical (u sure it's not a pajamas?). For the last one, I really don't know based on what could Paradox designed it. In short, Ming's models are both unhistorical and ugly. Qing's models are not totally historical either but at least they're not such weird and ugly. To be honest Chinese model in CK2 also suck but at least it's free. In EU4, we paid so I except Paradox can provide some stuffs with higher quality

It's a model pack, and not much else can be said about it. The quality is rather nice this time around, and if you plan on playing alot in the East (especially pre-united Japan) this should add some flavour to your campaigns. The price is rather high as always, so you might want to wait some months to see if it ends up on sale.

I love Mandate of Heaven. I think it's one of the best dlc's. And I love these units. But considering how overpriced the expansions are, the content packs really should be included as part of the expansions.
