Pretty good game. Like the weird medical stuff. There are definitely some "quality of life" changes I would make. Being able to copy items would be nice. Overall, very fun game.

I have played TPH several times on xbox and on PC. It is a comfort game I always come back to. Definitely recommend for anyone that enjoys sims and management type games.

"No Point Hospital" has a point in playing up until you reach teaching. Then, it turns into a slog of patiently being patient about staring at patients.
It is a fun light game, stirring the feelings I have for the immortal Theme Hospital game of my youth.
Today, at my age, I see hospitals more closely and they perform very different from what I was shown as a child in that game. I should sue someone.
Anyway, this game, becomes very boring very fast. Once you get training, all you really do is build up the core rooms, get untrained stuff, specialize them, and then you just wait for the goals to complete by themselves, usually without you having to do anything other than:
- Click "hire" to look for a good stuff member
- Click X on all you are provided until you are given a stuff member who doesn't combine being a nurse and being a doctor at the same time.
- Find a student stuff member.
- Teach him what you want him to be.
- Cure 1 billion patients at a cure rate of almost 100%.
- Next level - same thing.
- Next level - same thing.
- Next level - same thing.
At some point, I didn't even look at the game. I was just letting it run on fast mode and did something else while it was minimized to the toolbar.
Tells you a lot.
But you keep going because this hospital cures weird ailments but OCD is not one of them.

Better than Two Point Museum because this game doesn't have Denuvo in it. Play this to see what restarted the Theme Hospital craze under a new name and hope the devs remove the DRM from their new game soon.

hours and hours of fitting medical cabinets in a 3x3 room just to bring prestige up in a doctor's office brings me so much joy. 10/10

Many years ago there was a game called Theme Hospital. You were in charge of a hospital where you would treat patients with all kinds of wacky diseases, with the overlaying intention of turning a profit. It was published by SEGA as one of their first PC games and it was an absolute megahit. Two Point Hospital is a spiritual successor of that legendary game.
Two Point Hospital preserves the idea and gameplay style of its predecessor to the fullest. You'll be in charge of every aspect of the hospital, from hiring staff and running finances to decorating room interiors. The game is divided into lots of different scenarios (or missions, if you'd like to call them), with each being focused on some specific aspect of the game. For instance, one scenario lands you a job in the University hospital, where all the available staff are students without any experience so you'll have to train them from scratch. Once you complete a scenario, you'll also discover a challenge mode for that scenario, where patients are coming in waves similar to tower defense games. As you've probably already seen, Two Point Hospital comes with loads of DLCs that unlock new scenarios, but the game truly offers a lot even in its base form. Numerous missions with both normal and challenge modes, lots of different rooms to build and diseases to treat and an incredible number of ornaments to polish up your hospital are all sure to provide you with plenty hours of fun.
Two Point Hospital also delivers in terms of presentation. The art style and characters seem even more goofy than in the original Theme Hospital. Although not very detailed, the graphics are nice and colorful and the background music is totally relaxing. However, the game is running on Unity engine, so once your hospital gets really big and crowded you can expect FPS hiccups even on high-end hardware.
Playing Two Point Hospital can devour your day in a flash, since it quickly lulls you into its casual and addicting gameplay style. The game is easy to learn and targets audiences of all ages. But the downside to that addicting gameplay in most casual strategy games is the lack of depth. Two Point Hospital is no exception to that rule and can soon become boring to experienced and more-demanding players. Personally, I was very disappointed with the limited options for managing staff behavior and hospital policies. The AI of NPCs could also be (a lot) better.
Two Point Hospital is a relaxing game that I can comfortably recommend to anyone, especially the younger players.

I adore this game.
To make sure I gave a proper review, I have completed the game twice and currently on my third run.
I have all DLC (worth the money, especially if you get them on sale).
It has varying levels of difficulty, challenges on each level, there's plenty of variety.
It can become a bit tedious building the same thing over and over, especially with placing loads of gold star awards to get a level 5 room (can we just purchase an expensive one time item??).
It has humour, nice strategy elements and challenges. Well worth the money I paid for this game.

Recommended with a caveat, this is a fun game and it does throw you back to bullfrogs Theme hospital , but there are several QOL issues and the game does bug out from time to time making certain levels impossible without a reset, especially annoying when you've wasted an hour trying to do it.
