I really wanted to give this game a chance but the bugs killed it. The bizarre controls and visual style make it hard to understand what is happening. So, I looked up beginner's guides to better understand it and gave it another try.
But then the controls reversed and stopped working randomly until my character died. Then on the next go around a popup notification (that blocks the view of the center of the screen) refused to go away no matter what button I pressed and I was forced to quit.
For these game-breaking bugs to exist in a 7-year-old game clearly indicate that there is no ongoing support from the developers. I guess I'm just spoiled on that front by the rest of my library.
