Total Extreme Wrestling 2013 Reviews

I played this years ago when it first came out, and racked up thousands of hours. I played the 2016 version for years and fell out of love with the 2020 version. Playing this game I feel it really hasn't missed a beat and I can lose so much time to it.

Love Wrestling, so if you've ever wanted to be a booker or promoter who runs your own wrestling show then this is the game for you. Ive got almost 600 hours on it. too much fun, which is in the details.

Takes a little bit to get used to the UI but when it clicks it really clicks. I recommend downloading a real world mod which is easy to install.

Great game, by far the best wrestling sim out there. Can't wait for the 2016 version to be available on steam.

The TEW series is addictive if you are a fan of the backend creative side of wrestling...or math. The amount of hours I've logged on here doesnt do the game justice, as I bought tew2016 a month after this. With the new one coming out in April please, please, please give this a try!

They're not on Steam, but go find the newer versions of this game and buy them. 100% worth it and have way more depth.

TEW 2013 - the best wrestlingshow-booking-simulation of all time. Incredibly captivating, deep, complex, completely moddable and with many real fan database mods from the Internet, you can also book old classics from the WWF Attitude Era, WCW or WWE Ruthless Aggression Era or create your own creations. It's unbelievable how many possibilities this game offers and how much you can customize without it ever really getting boring. Changing gimmicks of existing wrestlers, no problem. The only thing I miss about Total Extreme Wrestling is proper multiplayer via LAN or Internet. Something that, in my opinion, this series would do very well if you want to book different leagues or shows with several people or friends. Conclusion: Total Extreme Wrestling 2013 is the last part that was released on Steam (!) and also the best that you can generally buy here. I no longer like the presentation of the 2016 and 2020 successors so much, although that is a matter of taste. Anyone who has always wanted to make John Cena a heel or want the WCW and WWF's Monday Night Wars to end differently and like very in-depth wrestling booking should definitely give this title a try. Gimmicks von vorhandenen Wrestlern verändern, kein Problem. Das einzige was ich bei Total Extreme Wrestling vermisse, ist ein ordentlicher Multiplayer über LAN oder Internet. Etwas was diese Reihe meiner Meinung nach sehr gut tun würde, wenn man mit mehreren Leuten oder Freunden verschiedene Ligen bzw. Shows booken will. Fazit: Total Extreme Wrestling 2013 ist der letzte Teil der auf Steam(!) erschienen ist und auch der beste den man hier generell kaufen kann. Die Nachfolger 2016 und 2020 gefallen mir von der Aufmachung dann nicht mehr so sehr, wobei das Geschmackssache ist. Wer John Cena schon immer mal zum Heel machen wollte oder die Monday Night Wars von WCW und WWF anders ausgehen lassen wollte und sehr tiefgründiges Wrestlingbooking mag, sollte definitiv diesen Titel mal ausprobiert haben.

I find it very fun and interesting trying to go from nothing to having the best company around. I wish they would add the newest games in the series to steam.

Ive been playing these for many years and they are fantastic. Some of the most in-depth simulation games to date. The learning curve is steep though, and this is certainly a niche game. Hardcore simulation fans that like the business end of wreslting will find it amazing, the casual gamer will immediately refund it.

It's still real to me dammit! I have had this game for almost 2 years, and still play it 10-20 or more hours per week. I enjoy trying to assemble a good roster and locker room, and trying to find chemistry between wrestlers as oppnents or tag team partners, all while dealing with wrestler egos, injuries, talent raids from other companies, etc...Then the company you are at war with accuses you of being tied to the occult, so you alledge they kill puppies...Which company will people believe? Oh crap, now your Champ is out of action for a year after a major concussion. The fun never ends!
