Cancel everything on your agenda! You will spend hours exploring the different levels and try to speedrun to unlock all its potential! This platformer is very exciting and put the speed at the center of the game. Although you can unlock levels at your own pace, you really want to see this little blue guy going crazy everywhere :D
..Beware of the rage quit though ;)
Hope I will be able to try this game with a gamepad soon.

There are three reasons I can't recommend this game, though the second one is fixable with a bit of fiddling with external software, and would not matter to fullscreen.
1: Though it's stated it recommends a controller, the truth is that a mouse should actually control it far better... save for one design choice. This is due to the point of the bionic light blob changing when you move. Were it to be fixed to the exact center of the screen, mouse would be superior without a doubt. This game is practically made for the precision a mouse brings to the table. Using a controller is like trying to play an FPS with a controller. Is it possible? Yes, but it'd take way too much practice to actually become effective at doing so.
2: There is no option to make the mouse stuck inside the window in windowed mode. This is fixable with a program (which I won't mention here, as I'm not advertising for something in a review) and, should you use full screen or a controller, won't impact anything for you. This is a minor grievance compared to the last one, however.
3: The most frustrating part of all. Something that impacts everyone that cares about their time... the timer. The very heart of this game on modes above easy. It starts on its own, before you even start moving! And it gets worse! The screen is still dark when you can actually start moving! That outright kills any hope for effective speedrunning, as you need to start frame perfect.
This game is very nearly amazing. If issue 1 was addressed, I could recommend this game. If issue 3 were addressed, the difficulties above easy would be worth going for. This game has so much potential, and yet... it's just not able to reach it...

It's ok. Relies moreso on luck than skill when you play with a mouse. I didn't give it a shot with a controller, as the game recommends, but I didn't find it intriguing enough, when I played it with a mouse, to actually want to try with a controller. Graphics are ok, I like neon-ish graphics, but gameplay needed to be a lot more fun considering that the particles/graphics are very minimalistic.
That said, I would recommend this game when it's on sale, but maybe not the full price.

This is an amazing idea! Love the way increase in speed changes the tempo of the music. My only qualm is with the movement mechanic. With no sensitivity option, as of yet, momentum can easily be lost when trying to change direction. I feel that initializing movement with A or something of the like might make it a little smoother. I will def be playing more of this and waiting to see how it grows :3
