the game wont start and the only time it started on democrats won waste of money if your looking for a real game and its so old make a 2020 one or something

Horrible! the graphics are horrible and the game wanted me to intstall foreign link, I did and it does even tell me were do put it in the game files! I can't even play the game! If you want an actually good political simiulator that works try the The Political Machine 2020, The Political Process, or President Infinity. I know that the game was made was a couple years old but any game that does not come with the right files is BS.

Game is horrible, freeze's up when your about 5-9 minutes into playing the game and it requires unwanted downloads from a website.

Problems: Yes it is super cheesy with the graphics it looks like it was made in 2004 and The Events can be a little wonky just as an example lets say you disband protesters, you would expect that move to anger the protesters but instead it makes them love you (I believe this case only happens with two events and before you take the action it will show you what group supports it) Good stuff: You can run as an independent or third party which many election games don't let you do and its very challenging which makes it fun, there is a good amount of content like donors, a lot of events, and a lot of options for ads. overall if you don't mind horrible graphics (I don't and I think it makes the game a bit funny) then I'm sure you would like this.

Concept here is good with these games. This was really lazy IMO. I have the one from 2012 and this should be DLC for that one, or something. Maybe on sale. 4.5/10

If you want to waste some quick cash, feel free. The system this uses to declare a victor is very biased, and does not allow for third parties to even stand a chance at victory, even if you follow up on all the hot-topic issues. This game is complete trash, and a waste of time.

If this was a joke game, this would easily be the greatest joke presidential race simulator of all time. Poor Voice Acting, Bad Graphics, Biased Gameplay. You want it, it's yours my friend. As long as you have 15 dollars. If you are looking for a actual simulator with some quality, buy something else. But if you looking for some really spicy game like me, this is definitely the one to choose.

All in all, this should be DLC for the last game. Nothing changed since the last edition, and running in fullscreen crashes my hdmi port on my computer. Runs smoothly otherwise. Poor voice acting, and drawn out dialog. Read the discussions then pick another polsim. Im not even going to get into the random state swaps in the last couple days. Thumbs down. Also, multiplayer doesn't work.

When I bought this game, I didn't expect to like it. I expected to buy it, play it for a bit, and see if it's really worth a recommendation. I definitely did not expect to find the "[i]The Room[/i]" of election simulators. A game so poorly made, and so blissfully unaware of how godawful it is, that its many failures become entertaining. Sometimes. Eversim is infamous for its ridiculous animated interludes. They are absolutely obsessed with the concept of having these horrifying and ugly 3D models talk to the screen when performing even basic actions. Every speech, rally, debate, and most pieces of news are done this way. It's absurd and pointless, and sometimes nightmarish. It's not just the graphics that suffer, though. The voice acting is just terrible. It sounds like every voice actor is auditioning to be in the next [i]Birdemic[/i] movie rather than trying to portray world leaders. Every accent and style is so stiff and forced (if it's even attempted at all) that it's sometimes difficult not to laugh. You can even tell in some places where the actors stumbled over their lines and didn't correct it. Unlike the infamous "so-bad-it's-good" films, though, this gets boring quickly. There is something oddly mesmerizing about it, though - it's like studying every detail of the floor tiles while being held in detention. I can't recommend this game at all, especially not for $10. Looking through the forums, it seems the main reason people don't buy this is that they don't understand American politics. That should be the least of your worries - Eversim doesn't either.

This game was made on the Trash Engine 3.0. Not to mention there is absolutley nothing different from 2012, except issues and debate dates. I suggest the Political Machine 2016 over this (it's a better version of the 2016 race and has more real candidates than this game) if you are a political buff I recommend President Infinity by 270soft or Prime Minister Infinity. It is fun to play once if you never played the 2012 version and that's it. It does have 3rd parties but no primaries. It does have all 3 debates but it's responses are limited and they say the same exact thing for each topic, which easily gets real boring fast. Whoever is the voice for Donald Trump is terrible. Yet again the price is double what it should be (that's what Eversim does) All in all I give it a 1.5/10. Should you buy it? You make the call but don't say I didn't warn you when you get to the game's main menu.
