tried it ....looked 20 years out of date...waited for update .... now looks 19 years out of date. Seriously though how do you make a game look so poor with this engine. I'm not style over substance but c'mon lets make it look as good as we can. This looks so poor I had to look up polygon in the dictionary to check what i was looking at.

EDIT: I felt that a huge paragraph doesn't really need to explain anything, so i've erased it all in exchange for this: This game is asinine garbage that will make you beg for death at the hands at your worst enemies, i'd rather chew on the cooked corpses of my childhood pets while sobbing hysterically than booting up this digitial torture chamber ever again. It's awful.

I'm a fan of Project I.G.I. and already liked this game very much when it just came out, because of the similarities in the core gameplay, and I missed this feeling a lot. BEL fullfilled my expectations and is still getting better with every update. Going completely stealth is hard to master. In case of failing to stay undetected - which you should try as long as you can - you really need to aim precisely, otherwise you're a dead man if you have no cover nearby. This should be a tough walkthrough challenge for Centerstrain01, who knows his videos ;) I appreciate the continuous work of the developer and can't wait for new missions!

To be honest, it's not as good as it is said to be. I know I didn't play a lot yet, but I definitely need to write this review. In the current state of the game I can't say that I'd recommend it, and here why: Damage output and bullet physics are poor. It takes about 5 bullets to kill an enemy by shooting him in the chest point blank (while 1 necessary to the head). At long distances (25m+), bullets are almost ineffective. AI is pretty bad: I spots you really easily, and at the same time, when you shoot at him from a long distance, he doesn't realise. The sound of bullets flying around doesn't seem to put enemies on guard even a little. I still have to give credit to the ONLY developper of this game as it is impressive to do this all by oneself. I just think this is not even close to be ''release worthy'' title as it claims to be. EDIT: I must say that there was some improvements to the game. I think it runs much better as a whole, still a bit buggy sometimes though. While I'd recommend this game for 5$ maximum, I cannot recommend to buy it for 20$ CAD(03/2020) without any DLC's. This game feels unfinished and unpolished. It's not to say that it is bad, but rather that it feels like a cash grab. There's a second one in the works. It might be a good game if some aspects of this one were to be corrected, but I wouldn't get my hopes up to much.

This is a game worth supporting, and it's a great throwback to Igi. But at the moment the game's unfinished so I decided to refund it, but I got full intentions of buying it back later when it's more complete and hopefully there is a full demo of it instead of the kcikstarter early alpha (which is how I found out about the game and thought the game would be finished by now but apparently the pre alpha demo more or less felt like the latest version of the game I just played). I know this game's a one man job and I applaud the developer for it. I'd like to list a couple of complaints that I have with the game that I hope he gets to fix it. 1. The most annoying thing with it is the animations, especially when you're climbing up a ladder and you keep climbing into the air even after you've reached the top of the ladder onto the platform. Also some animations between gun switches, aiming down sights would be nice. 2. Your hand / gun disappears or clips into walls. Not just some random wall, but EVERY wall. There is no collision against a wall feeling because you sort of pass through it a little. Once when I had my hand/gun near a table, it looked like my hand was cut away and was kept on the table. Don't know to explain this properly, but collision physics was lacking in short. 3. The menus and the way you bind keys. This is no deal breaker, but sometimes I had to press Esc to go back, and sometimes it does nothing, and I have to click on the Back button. Problem here is the Back button looks kind of invisible so I was stuck there doing nothing for a while until I found it. 4. The lady who briefs the missions is waaaaaay too loud in every mission. (Well I just reached the second mission but then, it was just too loud on both the missions so I doubt it would change in the later missions), anyways it's something that needs fixing for sure. 5. This maybe a game design choice, but the first mission was awfully dark in some places thanks to some dark shadows, and the lens flare totally blinded me too. I know game's meant to be realistic, but that kind of realism needn't be there when it hampers gameplay. But it's not a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance which would be better if fixed. As for what's done right: 1. Game runs smooth on my somewhat high end rig . i7 and gtx 970, no performance issues of any kind, and I'm very happy with the 21:9 ultrawide support. 2. The entire Igi game design is just so addictive and challenging and fun. This is what games like Far Cry, Sniper Gw3 etc are trying to do, but that open world mechanic kind of sometimes results in more quantity than quality sometimes. But I'm happy the first two missions that I played had good quality in level design and enemy spawns. 3. Ai was pretty decent. Sometimes I felt they didn't react when you shot them, but I wasn't completely sure I hit them as i was using my silenced smg so I could be wrong here. Would need more playtime to know but I had to get the refund going sadly before I cross the 2 hr limit. 4. All in all game's great. If you can look past the Ok graphics and some bugs, it's a definite buy. I'm ok with the graphics, I just find the bugginess a little jarring for the experience. In short, it's a great but incomplete game. If you're a fan of IGI, you will get EXACtly what you wished for. Pretty much everything from IGI exists here, including how u can see enemies thorugh your satellite map thingy, the way that you approach your missions etc etc. I want this game to succeed and I want to support the developer, and I feel bad for applying for a refund right now. I'll be back for sure with an updated review in the future sometime. Cheers Polygon Art.

overall recommended with few reservations (played alpha before) quite-not-there-yet and clunky take on good old school SP infiltrations akin to IGI, playable if one's into bit of thinking man's game of evasion (and occasional point-blank range murder) with average -but serving it's purpose- AI of course the game feels bit unpolished at this point (even bit too much unpolished for the price?) but having played alpha release before this is much smoother and optimized with a bit of nostalgic "not every game has to be AAA COD clone to be enjoyable" approach to it one thing that could make it better would be more definitely set timeframe -yes I crave 60s-80s Cold War settings

This game is NOT even half complete, its a poor imitation of Ground Branch and other tactical fps of the early millennium, teeming with piss aweful gunplay, lacklustre maps and horrendous frame lags. Is as note worthy as a spec of square dirt on a window.

Love this game because of its similarity to one of my favourite game Project IGI. Can we get few Improvements : 1. Health Indicator 2. Highlight security cameras on Droid. It would be good to know cameras to plan ahead. 3. Weapon recoil is too much when aiming down the sight. So its much easy to kill using crosshair than iron sight. Its should be other way around

As others have stated, Project IGI was definetely an inpiration for this game. No hand holding, No tutorial pop ups. Gadgets and guns. In the short time I have owned this I have seen huge improvements. One being the graphical overhaul which stepped it up. Is it a AAA shooter? No. Is it a great indie old school shooter. YES Did I mention a mission editor? That's right, the dev even included an editor to let you create your own map! You choose from several premade landscapes and from there you can place structures, enemies, create objectives, etc Upload it to the workshop, or download other peoples and give them a try. TLDR Good shooter. Lots of replayability.

Imagine a bad Project I.G.I. This is what this game is. It's the kinda game you don't buy until it's in the bargain bin.
