First off, this game has great potential regardless of it's early access designation.
The art shown in this game is both unique and painstakingly beautiful - it makes me think of the Toxic Avenger meets Contra.
From a gameplay perspective, there seems to be quite a bit of room for growth and expansion - the developers appear to be devoting much of their time to the game's foundation and initial mechanics before diving into the major plot and comprehensive milestones.
There are both single player, and multiplayer options; this game can be played with a controller, or a keyboard and mouse if desired. The controls are quite responsive and are quite comfortable.
The game's soundtrack is done really well, and doesn't feel repetitive or hashed together, it feels like a lot of effort was put into this area of the experience.
There are a ton of characters to choose from, the weapons array is quite good, and the multitude of supported playstyles could be endless.
There are even more characters, guns, bombs, traps, and levels in the menus that appear to be in the development stages.
I give this game 9 Altoids out of 10, and reccomend it to anyone looking for a fun experience.
