Quantum Break - Original Game Soundtrack Steam Charts & Stats

[h1]Created by [url=https://twitter.com/peppepappa]Petri Alanko[/url] the Soundtrack of Quantum Break from Remedy Entertainment left me with mixed feelings.[/h1] On one hand as in the past already too Mister Alanko delivered a well crafted Soundtrack that seem to hit every tune the right way and does fit the overall mood in the Game very well and on the other hand a handfull of Tracks you might have heard during your playthrough of Quantum Break were not even included at all into the current available compilation on Steam or even in the Retail Version you can buy on a CD or in the past a Vinyl Version for some time too. [h1]For some this might be not an big issue at all but for me each time i have listen to the Quantum Break Soundtrack it left me with a deep hole were clearly something was missing.[/h1] While this is in the end sad it would be a huge mistake to overall underestimate the rest of the Album that Petri Alanko has delivered since like in the past it has again it's highlights that you will enjoy listen to those over and over again. Tracks like [i]Suite For Time And Machines[/i] or [i]Damaged, Together[/i] clearly show that Petri Alanko is currently on his peak and I am looking forward to see what he will deliver in the upcoming future. [h1]Conclusion:[/h1] The Soundtrack is available in the MP-3 (320 kBit/s Bitrate) Format on Steam with an Album artwork in 400x400 with an 24 dpi and on [url=https://open.spotify.com/album/4qOpD0MgKVTaPahw9zHL59]Spotify[/url] too. [b]The tracks I liked the most:[/b] Remote Warning / Dodging Bullets / I kept waiting - Each one of those Tracks is brilliant and I could listen to those till i would get sick of it and then restart again listening to them. Specially those tracks seem to kick into their second gear at aminute 01:00/01:00/01:00/. [b]The tracks I like the least:[/b] Disappearance - If I would have to describe that track i would put it in the box of "Somtimes less is more." The track just feels like it is overproduced and straight from the beginning till the end. But let`s not loose the focus on the overall quality of the album. It's awesome and even I might miss some tracks i can't come around in just repeating myself if it comes to Petri Alanko: [u]He is currently at his peak of his career and i am looking forward to what might follow after this album.[/u] In the end i am therefor only left with one and only one possible rating of the [b]Quantum Break - Original Game Soundtrack[/b] [h1]Thumbs Up[/h1] That´s it. First of all, the music is beautiful and reminds me a little of Mass Effect. I would like to see more from Petri Alanko. Now on to the version offered here. MPEG 1 Layer 3 @320 kbps / 48000 Hz 2 channel stereo No encoding text file is included so I don't know how it was encoded (ABR/CBR/VBR). FLAC is not included like many other soundtracks on Steam include. Unfortunately this is why I can't recommend this soundtrack. It is missing a lot of high range. At times, the sound is also a little muddy. If a FLAC/WAV/Lossless version were included, it would be a different story I would assume. If you are listening on some earbuds, it would be fine... I guess. But if you have a higher end surround system, you will be disappointed.

A great package with the great OST of Quantum Break. I can only find a couple I would add to my playlist, but it still is worth it. In-game, each and every title of this OST rocks.

I think that the soundtrack is quite alright. However: Some tracks are missing in here. Not everything from the game is featured. And that's very unfortunate in my opinion. But that's like the only negative I got here. The included stuff is quite nice to listen to. I mean, It was made by Petri Alanko, so ye. He's known to create very beautiful songs. They fit into the game nicely, so It is good. I think it builds the atmosphere just nicely. This just does deserve my positive review. I do wish it didn't lack some of the songs. Unsure why it isn't the entire soundtrack. But it's still good enough to recommend. Quality is nice and it's definitely worth it.
