Game where you have to complete missions using members of a motley crew of a dozen. Decent for its age.

The game was good when it came out, however this version will not run on a modern system.
Changing compatability, making the exe read only, or launching from folder result in CTD.

the game is from 2001 so If you don't have a foreground, this kind of game like this is not recommended...
I only recommend this game for old-school dudes...

A surprisingly very fun game with wide, open levels and decent squad AI for 2001.

It is an old time classic that I used to play as a kid. It's an excellent game for its time. Each of the 10 missions requires a different set of tools and skills, so you must choose each member of your squad carefully. You have at your disposal 12 different soldiers with different combat abilities, but you can only take 4 of them at a time on the mission, but be careful, if you lose one of them in combat, it will no longer be available for the next mission. To complete the game you will need a lot of determination and precision.

I remember this game being insanely difficult with no remorse or care for your enjoyment - so I tried it again thinking it may be easier now that it's running on some major hardware. Well no, it certainly is a hard and tactical as I remembered it... still an amazing game for its time so it gets my thumbs up.

It's a shame to give this game a negative. And I'd give all games from this dev team a negative if not for the fact that I won't waste any more of my time. The years went by, they kept making new games and ZERO improvements! So I'll be refunding Deadly Dozen, Deadly Dozen: Pacific Theater, Deadly Reloaded, Elite Warriors: Vietnam and Line of Sight: Vietnam. It's all the same crap.
It's open world. You get action frequently instead of roaming around without fighting like recent games. The atmosphere because of the classic art style is good. But here comes the negatives... Enemies have perfect sight. They see through all bushes. And the sound is MONO!!! So you hear shots and you don't know where the f' they are coming from. Not a single clue. You have to use your team as bait to see where they are pointing while they get shot. If they all die, you need to run around like a moron trying to figure it out. Playing Realistic mode you get shot once and you're dead, so you need to save scam A LOT. And Arcade mode is kinda pointless. You're just waiting for you to get shot so you can see where it is coming from. After you beat the first level, the screen goes to the second monitor and you lose control over the game.
There are countless old school FPS games. This ain't it.

I remember watching a cousin play this when I was like 8 or 9 years old. I'm so happy that Steam ported the game and it runs without any trouble on my laptop and the fact they simplified the controls too makes it way more playable. The game is super challenging even on Medium difficulty, so I'd recommend playing it on Easy then going from there. The games graphics are VERY dated so don't buy this game expecting Battlefield 5 style graphics, just some good ol nostalgic FPS shooting.

Pretty decent WWII game. You are playing in huge maps in either first oder third person perspective with a sqauad of up to 4 characters. You can switch between them whenever as you like, leaving the other three being controlled by AI.
There are also vehicles with not half-bad driving physics.
Heads-up for German customers: This version is completely uncensored and even shows swastikas, etc.

Don't get this on Steam, get it on GOG instead.
Reason being is Steam sells the game on v1.04, which is (at least to me) completely unplayable. Couldn't get it to launch on a modern pc, no matter how much i tweak around with it. Throughout my attempts of running this i came across numerous sources of people complaining about various issues that this version of the game is littered with, same as hard copies sold on Amazon. Gog appears to be the only place where you can get this game at v1.05, which features high resolution monitor support, fixed audio issues (well, mostly), but most importantly it actually runs on newer windows.
