The controls did not work at all. The Play button could not be selected. I uninstalled this game.

Zuma was one of the first games I played on my phone all the way through, and when I heard that there was going to be something similar in VR?! I just about lost it. I love this game, and I find the levels to be challengingly amazing. I can't wait to see where this goes!

Graphics and enviornments are impressive, and the gameplay is nice and addictive (Plus, I think the devs improved shot-handling since I first played it, so extra bonus points there!) I enjoy playing it, and my wife definitely loves it too- I showed it to her tonight, and she burned through 6 stages straight (with a few retries :) Even though I'm having fun with it (as a more experienced gamer), I'd say this game is *definitely* worth breaking out to impress friends and family who can handle 'casual' games, but might not be up for playing something more active like a wave shooter :)

Nice game, definitely recommend it. Hope will have multiplayer mode in the future. Btw, level 10 is far way difficult.

TL;DR: It's ZUMA, but in VR. I enjoyed ZUMA, and I got this on sale for 5 bucks and it was more than worth it. PROS: -It's ZUMA. But in VR. They nailed that pretty well. I believe this is the only VR game that offers that style of gameplay. -They make use of it being 360-degrees (i.e. sometimes the tracks go behind you, above you, below you). I wasn't sure if this was true from the trailers. -Balls look nice and there are interesting powerups. CONS: -No "ball-shifting" animation when you shoot into the line. This is just a little bit jarring, especially when you miss (see following point) -I'm a Zuma expert, and, for the most part they nailed the feel of the game. However, something feels JUST *slightly* off about how far ahead you have to aim in order to get the ball in the right spot. Like, if I aim a green ball at another green ball directly, and pull the trigger, I expect them to be next to each other. But, if you're aiming at the latter half of the green ball you're aiming at, sometimes it'll go one ball behind it. It just feels slightly off, and that can be frustrating. -Menus are not *perfectly* polished, but better than a LOT of independent games. PRO-TIP: -You can shoot through environment pieces that look solid. All in all, the pros outweigh the (really, very minor) cons, and you're essentially playing ZUMA in VR. I recommend!

It's a completely competent, very well made VR implementation of Zuma. Things look and sound nice, it actually makes good use of being 3D. If you're curious to play VR Zuma, go for it!

Awesome. If you love the original Zuma, this brings it to a whole new level. Great design, great visuals A must buy. the only thing I will say is that you can't swap ball colours like in the original that I can see and the grey/grey and the blue/grey are a bit too close and I keep getting them mixed up. Butr apart from that AMAZING !!!

This is an early access review. This is the game that finally got my wife to enjoy VR. We both love Zuma having played it on lots of different formats. The graphics are great on my 970 card. Now that they have put the aiming guide in it works very well, and we've not had any problems with aiming. Having the balls move all around you brings a new dimension to the game. There was an idea on the forum about being able to use both hands to shoot, which would make it even better, perhaps having it as a separate mode, or only on some levels. Needs more tracks, as the early access only has 10, but if they take it up to the 100 that they talk about it will be a winner and a must have game for anyone with a VR headset.

Will be happy to change this review if things change but as of now the game won't start on my Oculus Rift. According to the developer you have to use the Xbox controller but I tried that and no luck there either. As of now I have to recommend staying away from this until you can actually play the game.
