Nice music and really beautiful art! It's calming and relaxing if you just ignore the timer. I played it a lot when I was a potato recovering from wisdom teeth surgery and it was great.

The art style is a treat to the eye and the music is very relaxing. Good for when you need some downtime but still want to give your brain something to do.

This is a beautiful looking game, but in my opinion, it stops there.
I am surprised of the amount of positive reviews, as this is a game where a lot of the fundementals when playing a jigsaw type puzzle game is straight up furiating. I am guessing for the price it's decent, but I don't think I would bother.
Puzzle pieces
Echoing a lot of other reviews, the way you interact with the pieces, the way they look and how the "wheels" work is super strange.
The pieces are on two separate wheels that you can spin around the puzzle area. Even though it looks and acts as a full circle, each side of the puzzle area holds different batches of pieces. Would really make more sense to either 1) have the circles act as full circles, so if you rotate any wheel, a piece that was initially on the left side would eventually make it to the right side and vice versa. Or 2) Rotating any section would just affect that section by itself
Also, the "hitbox" of the pieces is very strange, so sometimes when you try to rotate the wheel you will pick up a piece and vice versa.
The pieces are more or less scaled down to equal size when they are laying in the circle, which makes it very hard to know before you pick it up what size it is. The piece also spins a lot when picking it up (and putting it back down), which to me becomes very tiring after a while since you are picking up and dropping pieces a lot (since you have to pick up pieces to see what they look like and how big they are)
Since all the pieces are blacked out, the game also ends up being some kind of memory game where you have to memorize what piece you just picked up. I find myself scrolling the wheel and pulling the same piece over and over again.
The final piece issue, and absolutely the most infuriating one, is the bold outline of every piece. I am not sure why they even are there. It's "outside" the piece, and if you are placing two pieces next to eachother, this outline will overlap. This means the outline is not actually a part of the puzzle, but visually it is. I thought this would be something I would get used to after playing for a while, but I am constantly finding myself thinking a piece won't fit somewhere, but eventually realizing that it should be there. The bold outline makes it look like the piece is way to big for a spot - my brain can't overcome the visual incoherence. I think this is acutally the main reason why I am having an issue with this game
Imagery
When doing a jigsaw puzzle, the final image is usually a good indicator of where each piece is going. When I pick up a piece, I can look at the imagery on the piece, and have a decent vibe of the where piece goes, at least approximate area. With this type of imagery, you can throw that more or less out of the window. Since each final image is a mosaic/colored glass type of imagery, one piece can look entirely different from the piece next to it. It really ends up being a "look for a specific type of shape".
"Relaxing"
Since each level is a clock, it's not super strange to have the clock arms moving, but it removes a bit of the "zen" feeling of playing a jigsaw puzzle. At all times there is a clock ticking/moving in the background. After playing for a while, my brain kinda filters out the clock, and it was more annoying in the beginning, but still a slightly strange decision for a relaxing game.
I might be overly negative about this. I think I would overcome a lot of what I think are negatives if it wasn't for the bold outline which feels so counter intuitive for a jigsaw puzzle game.

Nice little puzzle game with around 30 puzzles (including 2 levels from the free DLC and 3 demos for the paid DLC).
Each puzzle takes between 2 and 10 minutes depending on difficulty, for a total of just over 3 hours.
Frankly, I wouldn't recommend the game at its full price for just three hours of play where half the puzzles are really easy.
I paid just under 2€ and I think it's worth it.

Hesitant recommend since it's so cheap. The soundtrack is okay, the art is beautiful, and I like the cultural aspect of it, but this game sucks as a jigsaw puzzle game. Other reviews have explained it better than me, but there are truly some bizarre mechanics. Why are the pieces not to scale, why are they blacked out, and why is the puzzle wheel absolutely infuriating to control? If you're looking for a couple chill hours of trial-and-error puzzles, go for it.

Glass Masquerade is a good puzzle game. It’s easygoing, the music is pleasant, the art is beautiful, and the puzzles offer a nice range of difficulty (taking around 3–15 minutes each, depending on complexity). There’s no timer or pressure to rush, making for a relaxing experience. You can also leave a puzzle unfinished and return to it later, which is a great feature. The puzzles are intuitive, and it’s hard to tell what the complete picture will be until you’re close to finishing, adding a fun layer of mystery.
That said, it has some flaws. The pieces are slightly larger than the slots they fill, sometimes creating a false sense of placement. Many puzzles are locked behind previous completions, not for any real reason other than how the "map" is designed. Some levels also fall into stereotypical artistic depictions.
The base game lasts around 2 hours, or about 6 hours if you include all five DLCs.
