Good game, also pretty nostalgic for me since i remember watching people play this back when it was released but it's definitly more fun playing it yourself. I also haven't encounterd any big bugs, but that might be something multiplayer specific since i've yet to play with other people. The only bug that i've encounterd is one small part of the Yellowstone map where you can't walk in between one specific tree and the mountain right next to it. The only thing that i would criticise is the lack of updates but i've heard that the game is ukrainian and the whole dev team had to relocate at the start of the war and i'd rather that the dev team feels safe and being slow with developing the game instead of not feeling as safe but being able to make more updates.

this is the most overrated hunting game I have ever played. the AI will either hard target one guy or never actually show up to attack the players. it also doesn't help that the game has the same "search 500 things but only get 2 bullets in return BS" there's also no I frames meaning you get locked into a combo harder then fighting a top 500 Mk 11 player at 3 in the morning. tbh the only reason this game isn't a 0/10 in my books is cause you can at least do pvp. besides that just go and play A day out, it is a far better hunting game and actually has more then just Bigfoot

This game is broken and borderline unplayable. Save your money as the devs have abandoned it. Last update was in 2023.

BIGFOOT is a unique blend of survival horror and open-world exploration that challenges players to hunt—or be hunted—in the vast wilderness of a dense forest. Developed by the indie studio The Astronauts, this game puts you in the shoes of both humans and the mythical creature Bigfoot, offering a tense cat-and-mouse experience that is as thrilling as it is atmospheric. Its fresh take on survival gameplay, combined with a mysterious storyline and immersive environments, makes it a standout title for players who enjoy stealth, exploration, and a touch of folklore-inspired horror. The premise of BIGFOOT is straightforward yet compelling: players can choose to play as members of a search party sent into the wilderness to find and eliminate the legendary creature, or take on the role of Bigfoot itself, evading capture while wreaking havoc. This dual perspective adds depth and variety to the gameplay, as each side offers different objectives, abilities, and challenges. As a human, you must rely on teamwork, resourcefulness, and strategy to track Bigfoot’s movements, using tools such as traps, weapons, and environmental clues. Playing as Bigfoot, on the other hand, emphasizes stealth, brute strength, and primal instincts to survive and outsmart your pursuers. One of the game’s greatest strengths is its open-world design and the naturalistic setting of the forest. The environment is beautifully rendered, with dense trees, foggy valleys, and dynamic weather that contribute to an immersive and sometimes unsettling atmosphere. Navigating the wilderness requires careful attention to sound and sight, as both hunter and hunted must make use of the environment to their advantage. The forest feels alive, with ambient wildlife and environmental hazards that keep players on edge. This sense of isolation and vulnerability enhances the tension and urgency that permeate every encounter. Gameplay mechanics in BIGFOOT focus heavily on stealth and survival tactics. Humans need to communicate and coordinate to cover ground, set traps, and track footprints or other signs left by Bigfoot. The game rewards patience and observation, as rushing headlong into the forest can quickly lead to fatal mistakes. Bigfoot’s gameplay revolves around evasion and ambush, using the dense terrain to disappear and strike unexpectedly. The creature’s unique abilities, such as powerful melee attacks and roaring intimidation, add an exciting layer to confrontations and encourage creative approaches to encounters. The multiplayer aspect of BIGFOOT is particularly engaging, fostering tense and unpredictable matches where players must outthink their opponents. The dynamic between hunters and the creature creates memorable moments, from narrow escapes to coordinated team attacks. The game supports cooperative play for the human team, which emphasizes communication and strategy, while the Bigfoot player enjoys a more solitary, stealth-based experience. This asymmetry in gameplay is well-executed, providing balanced yet distinct roles that keep sessions fresh and exciting. Visually, BIGFOOT presents a realistic and moody art style that complements its survival horror themes. The forest is richly detailed, with realistic lighting that casts long shadows and creates a foreboding ambiance. Character models and animations are solid, though not overly complex, fitting well with the game’s focus on atmosphere and tension rather than flashy visuals. The sound design is a highlight, with ambient noises like rustling leaves, distant animal calls, and chilling roars that significantly enhance immersion and alertness during gameplay. While BIGFOOT succeeds in many areas, it does have some rough edges. The learning curve can be steep, especially for new players unfamiliar with asymmetrical multiplayer mechanics. At times, the balance between Bigfoot and the hunters can feel uneven, depending on player skill and teamwork. Some players might find the pacing slow during exploration-heavy periods, though this also contributes to the game’s suspenseful mood. Technical issues such as occasional bugs or connectivity problems in multiplayer have been reported but are being addressed through patches. Overall, BIGFOOT is an inventive and atmospheric survival game that stands out for its unique premise, immersive forest setting, and tense asymmetrical gameplay. It offers a fresh experience for fans of stealth and survival horror, combining strategic team play with primal evasion in a way that keeps players engaged and on edge. Whether you prefer the thrill of the hunt or the challenge of being the hunted, BIGFOOT delivers a compelling and memorable adventure into the heart of wilderness terror. Rating: 8/10

This game NEEDS small fix updates! (not just major updates, that need Years of development) - Bigfoot gets stuck in water easily, which sadly happens almost every game - Safe Code Notes sometimes either don't spawn, or they are impossible to find - Game is too repetitive, especially with its lack of content & variation, making it boring very quickly

Was kinda fun, but now the devs have abandoned this game. It's been left a buggy mess from and update almost 2 whole years ago and still haven't been fixed.
