its got a great interface and loaded with cool abilities to make editing successful without having to buy tons of extras.

Been messing around in this for about a half hour. Very easy to use, intuitive, and it has SO MUCH you can do in it. Totally worth the money.

I've been using it for about 8 months now. It has a lot of functions but is sluggish and slow like no other software on my machine. It feels as if it had been written in unoptimized Python. I can't compare it with other video editors, though, and video editing is demanding. If you have a fast machine it might be easier to use. In terms of functionality, it seems to have everything you need for basic editing, plus a few silly features and a number of ugly effect templates. Usability is so-so, not hard to figure out but quite clumsy and overly complicated at times. Resizing clips is imprecise and requires constant zooming in and out, and I also believe it doesn't cut audio at 0 crossings - you sometimes get audible clicks. Overall I'd say it's an okay video editor, but it's overpriced and I would only buy it at a very low sale.

I've used this software a lot more than my recorded time says, trust me. It's a good program, really good, I use it for any video I have to make for school work or for fun. I don't know how it compares to whatever program is in the Adobe suite, but I've been able to do pretty much anything I need to on this, in terms of stringing videos, images, transitions, and whatnot together. It can be a bit obtuse at times though. Honestly what makes it for me is that I don't need to pay a subscription fee for it and I can install it on my next computer without having to worry about buying the license again.

I hate this company. I Paid $150 for PowerDirector 8 or 9 years ago. After we all moved to WIndows 10 they quit supporting it and I paid another $100 for this copy on Steam thinking it would always be supported. And after a year now it isn't. I'm not paying for software that will only work for a year again. You fooled me twice Cyberlink, not again.

loove the simplicity of this softwhere, everytjhing is working, except one problem when iv rendered a video the brightness is up or something causing it to be very white with patyches you can see som,e of the video.. please help asap Edit: got back to me fast. easily 10/10 would tell my friends edit 2: problem fixed. i had the wrong render on my videos look as dope as ever now

So I had purchased PowerDirector 12 a few years ago and was looking for an upgrade. The fact that it was on Steam was really awesome, makes it a lot easier! It doesnt improve too much from previous PowerDirectors. But I still think it is one of the best consumer editing software.

I'm used to Pinnacle and had vast experience using it but had to switch to a cheaper alternative lately, so I'm still learning how to use CyberLink PD15 and only discovering advanced things, but so far looks like it can do some pretty sweet things when you learn how to utilize it properly.

This is a good progam for getting started in video editing but it is lacking in it abilty to process more than a single audi channel. To do so would require a second product from the company at $100... In Director 13 this function was built in but they reoved it and add an extra program for more money. Still a really good program if not processing more than one audio track.

the trial crashed all the time. the non steam version is only downloadable for a year. the steam version you buy and have in your eternal steam library. the steam bought version doesNT crash. its a great program. does everything you need it todo to edit your first good quality videos. absolutely reccomended for the price. You buy it and you just get straight to editing.
