Nice graphics and fun flying, includes a new 2D cockpit. But I only got 1 model! They advertise the add-on gives you 3 models, normal. amphibian and cargo, I only got the normal model. Since I hate false advertising I am not going to recommend this add-on.

I really like the aircraft and don't think I had any installation problems; but ... the addon was supposed to have 3 aircraft versions availble but only 1 shows up to fly in FSX SE. I cannot find any information on how to fix this and cannot figure out how to get anyone from Steam or Dovetail Games to help.
I would like to recommend this add on to others but only if they understand this problem.

This aircraft is great to fly! All thre models work well and look great. Doors open on both sides of the aircraft including double doors on passenger side. Lights on the aircraft also all work and look great for night time flying.
I am very happy with this 206. Already have over 10 hours logged in it.

If you’re looking for something easy to fly like the C172 but a little smaller than a 208 then this 6 seater delivers. A little faster than a C172 but way slower than the 208 this plane is a joy to fly. With a few different types like a belly cargo pod, and a float version as well as the standard you get a fair amount of variety here. Only thing I dislike is there is no altitude hold for the autopilot. A cool bush plane or commuter with excellent flight characteristics that feel pretty real.

Its an older carenado product so its not as detailed. By not detailed I mean the resolution of textures in the VC is not as high as in newer products. Also some switches and controls are not modeled in 3D but displayed only as texture, they are still clickable tho. Also some additional functionalities like sun shades and doors cannot be operated with mouse.
When it comes to sound, there is only one issue that I found, when moving from low rpm to high there is some dissonance in the sounds, but it might be just me.
What I liked about this plane its really nice to fly, the exterior model is really nice, also you can click on every gauge to opoup a "windowed" view of it or see precise numbers. Dont get me wrong, its still a good carenado product.
Overall its still fun to fly and worth getting if its on a sale. Its a solid representation of 206.
All three versions of this airplane are visible in FSX and playable, also comms panel is working properly.

A most enjoyable and realistic plane to fly. I am absorbed completely with the amphibious aspect of light; it provides an incredible way to extend your flight experience with it. Remarkable adventures await you with such a plane... CEC

Post review: I have a problem in that I am only able to access only one side of the fuel tank so flight becomes out of balance with only 1/2 of rang expected. Can't get any switches to accept changes. CFG file modification attempt also not working. No adequate replies from Caranedo support as to how to resolve the problem; generally poor to no responses coming from the support tickets submitted. Ultimately a disappointment and I have abandoned flight with the plane until and unless I can resolve this. Have swapped out to a Cessna 185 Skywagon which happens to also have an amphibious model and is working great. Can no longer recommend this plane and lack of proper support from Carenedo. CEC

Post Post Review: I have now installed FSX SE and this plane on a new computer. After initialization of all the gauges, the CU206 now works perfectly drawing fuel from both tanks. So it is now just GREAT again! Completely looking forward to it all, CEC

I got this plane on Sale yesterday, and I can't get out of it! It sounds and flies great! The red cockpit seems a bit much in the preview pictures, but when your flying, you don't even notice. It kind of grew on me.
Power seems spot on! Ground handling is nice and realistic, minus the nose wheel turning before the aircraft actually turns. But it still feels right. This plane is like the default 172's fat cousin. It's also a very profitable plane in FSEconomy.
The Autopilot is LNAV only, so you'll have to watch your vertical speed still. It trims out very nicely, I don't mind it at all.
I very much recommend this plane, especially for Cessna fans.
