Total waste of money. Bought it then closed down, next day used it 30 minutes max, then changed to another plane and continued playing. Filed for a refund because it is not realistic (crap is what it is...) and Steam said since I had played the game for more than 2 hours I couldn't get a refund. People who left positive feedback must have been paid by the seller.

I like the plane especially lifiting the gear to get more flow of the plane.however, you can't control the autopilot.

I think that this is a very nice add-on, for which I've had little problem. I did have to make a shortcut for flipping the GPS/NAV "switch" to NAV, but that was really the only problem. It's a nice fast aircraft!

Uncontrollable AP (only has alt and hdg holds, not adjustable), constantly looking down at the ground, unless it's on Spot, not enough features.

Pretty good add on. Autopilot does work just have to mess with it a bit. shift-7 brings up the gpsmap but you cant make it smaller and it takes up the whole screen.

I wanted a cheap addon with dial gauges and reasonably high speed for IFR profficiency. It meets most of those needs but the auto pilot is rudimentory to say the least (you'll have to use keyboard for some commands rather than VC input) and there appears to be a rudder authority glitch making crosswinds a bit of a faff. Pro: cheap on steam sale Carenado 140kias and stable Con: basic autopilot Rudder control All in all, probably a bit irrelvant if not for the sale price.

This is a great aircraft. It looks good, sounds good and flies well. It's so nice to have something with the same simplicity and good flight characteristic as the C172, but flies faster and has that very unique retractible landing gear. The sounds are fantastic and so authentic, it brings this aircraft to life. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have a lot of real Skylane time, so I can provide a meaningful review for all of the FS purists. When I installed this App, I did a number of IFR maneuvers with it, including an NDB hold and an NDB Approach in IMC conditions. It performed very realistically. I did an ILS approach coupled with the Autopilot. Realistic! The Radio Panel was accurate for the vintage of the plane, a combination of old Cessna 200 Series Avionics and newer King digital gear. However, my recommendation would be to replace the Series 200 Autopilot with an upgraded system such as the S-Tec 55X Series autopilot system. A lot of aircraft owners are replacing the older autopilots with this upgraded unit. It makes life a lot more pleasant on the long cross countries and flying single pilot IFR. The 2D panel really was a great feature and helped immensely when practicing IFR procedures. If you are buying these Apps to maintain your IFR skills, this one gets a score of 8/10 from me.
