An interesting multiple take on the batman franchise, so interesting that I may even replay it with the Shadows Edition (black and white) as I feel I have made some poor, yet fun and enlightening decisions during this play.

I forgot how good this game is. Super creative take on the universe and Season 2 has genuinely my favorite adaptation of the joker. It's different as hell and so well done.

Really well done story and voice acting. Troy Baker does a wonderful job as both Bruce and Batman and of course Dave Finnoy stars again as Lucius Fox. I enjoy having the ability to choose if Batman is unmerciful, or rather a less brutal hero. Story keeps you well entertained.

Not the best Batman or Telltale story ever, but does enough on both fronts to warrant checking out.
It's hard to feel accomplished when all is said and done, but it's a damn engaging journey throughout, and a worthy way to kill some time.

Batman - The Telltale Series was a huge "Let's see where this goes" feeling. The story was what got me excited to see whats to come... One of the cool story choices on the DC product.

I enjoy Batman, but I wouldn't really say I'm a fan. This game, however, made me reconsider that stance. Telltale did a great job with this title, and I felt it was very well worth both my time and my money.

This is a good Batman experience. Some parts of the story do feel rushed and not fully fleshed out but the characters are well written and is worth a playthrough. Unfortunately the choices in this title are of little importance, you will be led down the same path whatever you choose as I discovered on my second playthrough. There are only a couple that change the gameplay and a handful that carry over into the second game. Despite this, I recommend playing through this game and then strongly recommend playing the sequel "The Enemy Within". The sequel bests this title in every way but the first game is a solid foundation to introduce you to the world and the characters of Batman. The game will take you roughly 7-8 hours. 7/10 - good.

Currently on my second play-though of this game as I prepare to play the equal in the series so I think that says a fair bit about my opinion. Honestly I think this is an interesting take on the Batman lore and character along with giving the player plenty of time and chances to play as Bruce himself. (Which is one of my personal favourite aspects of the game as a fan of the comics.)
This is a Telltale game, obviously. I mean, it's in the title, but I bring attention to this because if you've never played a Telltale game or similar variations on the episodic narrative focused genre, then you'll be disappointed by the mechanics. QuickTime events are what you'll be interacting with the most when taking out the time sensitive dialogue choosing portion of the game. As someone who is a massive fan of these kinds of games and has played them for years, this is no problem for me, but people who are maybe wanting a Batman game in the same vein as the Arkham games, you will not find this here mechanically!
My only wish is that the choices you made a bit more impact or had more of a change on the story, but alas that is how most of these games go with the illusion of choice and along with having to most likely stick to a character outline of what Bruce/Batman is allowed to be seen doing by DC and then the even stricter hand of WB.
With an incredibly interesting story and some new takes on familiar characters, I feel that this game is most definitely worth your time if you're a fan of the Bat.
