Most amazing combat simulator ever - Downpour Interactive should have staid independent. Hopefully the servers will be still up for years to come.

Dont buy, won't work unless you buy it on oculus app, even then not worth supporting a dev team who cuts slowly poisons and cuts off a part of their community.

Do not listen to bad reviews - it is a fantastic coop shooter. Good feeling weapons, realistic physics and where fun maps. A bit big for 2 or 3 people - but with 4 to 5 people it is really fun. it may seem abandoned but there are bug fixes all the time.
it's only 15 euros for a rather good and fun game.
if you want to play solo play zero caliber - or wait for zero caliber 2.

This game was literally perfect before you wanted to bring it to the quest. Was nothing but a downward spiral from what it used to be since the downgrade. Any dev should use this game as to not what to do. To fuck over your community and game

I'm not a pvp fan in general so no opinion on that end. I like to jump into that mercenary mode with friends occasionally its a good game. not a great one. but worth the $25 price tag for me

ONWARD began development during a time of great VR optimism. Dante, a legend within the community, represented the hopes of the medium as a one man band developing ONWARD. Positioned as the only "tactical" VR shooter at the time. It drew in mil simmers from Arma, air soft, Paintball and IRL veterans establishing a mature competitive community early on. Along side gamers who were raised on the advent of personal computers and for many of us, it was the logical conclusion of FPS: getting INTO the game and shooting tacti-cool. ONWARD 2.0 IS its final form, and, despite the compromises born of adaptation to the still developing VR market, I still go to it for: - Immaculate gun handling - Physically based bullet ballistics - Tense PVP - A non-distracting graphical visual style (PCVR) Train up on hunt, graduate to coop, and hit PVP when you're hard enough! Finally, if you want recreational PTSD, join the Onward discord and find a friendly league team and experience something CRAZY. Will never stop playing this game, nothing like it after 2000 hours+
