VR Wave shooter? sure, But don't dismiss this gem based on genre. Lots of action, kid-friendly but gamer-focused. Did I mention steampunk? and whimsy?? This is a must have for anyone's de facto VR arsenal.

A ton of work went into the aesthetics and the style really shines. However some work on gameplay and adding more enemies is needed. For instance, allowing the player to duel wield and reducing the cooldown would ramp up the fun factor.

Beautiful and original graphics. I love the cartoon atmosphere and music and even now, in early stage, it's a really fun shooter. Maybe even one of my favorite wave-based shooters!

UPDATE 9/6/17: The game is now complete and full review forthcoming. I have to say that I am very impressed that the devs kept their word and finally completed the project.
Appears to have been abandoned by Devs. Single level, I'd love to play more (would pay more for episodic levels) but there have been no word from Devs in almost 6 months.

After Toaster-Oven told me that the game development was finished I decided to install it again and I gave it a second try. My conclusion:
Nice graphic style
Just 3 scenarios to play
Very generic wave shooter
All the features that the devs said would be in the game are not included.
Boring... very boring
Not recommended.

I love the art style and sound in this game. Glad to see left handers were thought of as well. Seems like some more difficulty balancing could be done as well as some better feedback when hitting/getting hit. Great production value though. I like it.

Phinnegan's Factory is one of my favorite games now.
Cartoony aspect is great, and it made me play for hours!!!
피네건즈의 팩토리/공장/ 은 확실히 제가 가장 좋아하는 게임들중 하나가 됬습니다!
만화적인 요소도 훌륭했구요, 몇시간이나 게임을 하게 되더라구요

I'm going to go ahead and say not currently worth the money.
The graphics and such are unique and has its own charming style. Sadly, though, I didn't find the gameplay as awesome as I would have hoped. I didn't feel thrilled playing, I simply briskly move side to side to dodge everything.
Then again, I have a slight bias against wave-based shooters in VR, since there are so many of them right now and none really feel revolutionary.
I have faith in the devs though, and I know the game will be worth my money within a few updates, and even though I disagree with the "recommended" stamp I'm giving this game, I'm going to give it nonetheless so that I can see more attention on this game.

*Edit: August 31st 2017
So it finally happened! The game has been completed! While it's just two more levels that are similar to the original one, they are well designed, the difficulty is increased and they each have surprises. The graphics have also been improved. Either way, this game was worth the asking price when it was released last year, so now it's just that much of a better deal.
*Edit: June 11th 2017
While most bad reviews state that this game has been abandoned, that's not been proven yet. It's just taking the devs a VERY long time to update. The 1st major update is due this month (which will probably actually be a few months from now :P) and I am very excited to play it. Either way, even if the game wasn't updated, it's STILL worth the asking price in its current state. I know there are many games in this genre for VR, but when the presentation and game mechanics are as good as this game's, it needs to be aknowledged. Sadly, this remains one of the most underrated VR games.

Unfortunately, just like Space Pirate Trainer, this is much more of a demo right now, than a full game. However, and much more importantly, this is the most fun I've had with the Vive since Space Pirate Trainer! To top it off, the visuals and audio are technically and artistically astonishing! I follow VR news daily and I'm shocked that I haven't seen any articles about this game yet. BUY IT NOW!

*Post Early Access Review* Well holy crap, the full game finally got released. You can see my earlier review below, but now that the game is out of EA I can change my recommendation to "Yes". The game is still a stand-your-ground wave shooter, which many people do not care for and are fatigued over, but it also isn't as expensive as most. For only $10, it's a very polished shooter with a very nice steampunk theme to it which I really like. One of the best parts of it is the local leaderboard that asks for the player's initials after every round, which makes this a great party game. My only suggestion (other than add some new weapons) would be to add in a Daily Local Leaderboard or something. Many of us will get all of the top 10 highest scores as we own this game and our VR stuff, but for the people that come over to parties and such, they are going to be new to VR and this game, so it's going to be very tought for them to even beat our lowest score on the leaderboard. Let us start with a clean slate so that friends and family have a chance.
*Early Access Review* The visuals and steampunk theme are great, the shooting feels fine, the audio is cool, the enemy types are enteresting, but I still can't recommend this game as it seems that the devs have moved on. I made a post on the Steam discussions about this and they even responded talking about how they are still working on it, but that was months and months and months ago. Back when I first got this, standing, wave based shooters were par for the course in VR and this one was one of the more interesting ones, but now half way through 2017 that's just not the environment. We have shooters like Arizona Sunshine, Sairento, Serious Sam, Raw Data, Onward, Dead Effect 2, and much more.
