Fire game, nothing ever bad happens in Tropico, the music is muy bien!

Different enough from the previous installment in Tropico 5, Tropico 6 adds new elements and the dynamics are slightly different which provides a fun but difficult learning curve. I for one have enjoyed the challenge but sometimes it can be frustrating because of how many dynamics are occurring between buildings. Many will enjoy, but do keep in mind it will take some time to understand how the buildings and other factors play on each other.

everyone who says this is hard is bad (objectivley bad) at the game, play 3 matches/missions/islands youll learn everything. Its not easy but its not hard either its really common sense stuff and pretty fun to watch your islands grow. I like it

Rare case of games nowadays not being dogshit, amazing game had lots of fun.

I've always been a big fan of the Tropico series because my happy place that I go to when times are tough is daydreaming about owning an island and being it's father-knows-best dictator. Every entry into the series seems to get closer and closer to being the perfect simulator for that happy place of mine. My only criticism is that it can get a bit too....goofy. Some people like that though, everyone has different tastes. I also wish they would bring back more military themed decorations. How on earth is a dictator expected to keep his island safe without sandbags and concrete barriers?

Tropico 4 was peak but this one's great too, fixes the issues from the previous game and is still fun.

I have loved the Tropico series since the beginning! Who doesn't want to try their hand at being El Presidente? I loved seeing the returning cast of characters, being able to get closer to ground lever than ever before, and having some customizable aspects, allows me to build the dict'ist island of my dreams! However, it is a strategy and resource management game and is not, in my opinion, beginner friendly. Tropico 6 has more complex mechanics, like trade, that you have to wrap your head around in order to be fully effective (a.k.a. rake in that money). I'm not a fan of overly complicated systems, so I either have to struggle through it, find a guide, or just bail some scenarios.

I have really enjoyed this game. It's a real challenge to develop an island nation into your own paradise and try to balance all of the intricacies of politics, public opinion, satisfaction of the people in so many areas of their lives. I'm having a blast!

The game is not free from some bugs and such, but nothing gamebreaking. The problem is in the publishers greed. How come the DLCs, that only add minimalistic functions and gameplay, cost more than the game itself?? Check the game on discount and check a DLC on discount... F you if you live in Latin America, right? TL:DR Game good. Price not worth even with discount.
