I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.

It works well at what it portrays. Teleport around, shoot stuff. I would have liked a little more direction as to where to go and some variety of enemies and weapons but the shoot from cover is pretty cool.

Doesnt load. I even left it loading for a hour, some things loaded, vision was tunnled and broken up to much to interact. I have windows mixed reality. It said it would work for that but it acts like other programs that are just for VR. Whatever the reason it doesnt work. I guess I cant get a refund?

First of all: I played VR Shooter Guns many hours at a friend's house before I got my own HTC Vive, so pure experience here! At this time (after Friday 13th update) it's a 9/10 rating. Why?

Does what it claims: Fast highscore-hunting game that is fun the 10th, 20th and 50th time you play it. You can squeeze out more points for the global highscore list by developing new tactics and learning to handle those evil turrets (Yes, you can really beat those!)
Simple arcade concept that everyone understands (at the latest after the tutorial)
Even more fun when competeting with your friends (yes, it's entertaining to watch others while you take a break!) - works even better with new CONTEST-mode!
No childish cartoon-graphics or cheap VR adaption! It's an up-to-date genuine VR-game and you can feel that!
Controls and aiming work precisely
Developer addresses user requests, no bugs experienced
Achievements and trading cards
For me the price is just about right. Sometimes you pay double for a game with 6-8 hours game time that you definitely won't play ever again, so with all those hours spent on various accounts playing VR Shooter guns it is really worth it! If you are still hesitating to buy this game, read the review at VideoGamers (google translate) - that guy is absolutely right (still applicable after the update)! The missing point for a 10/10 rating is just because I'd like to keep the developers motivated producing further improvements! ;-)
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
This is a good solid arcade timed shooter for VR. Keep in mind there's not much story. This is basically kill as fast as possible and get the highest score type of deal. You run around, take cover, get health pickups or other consumables/ upgrades and try not to die. There is a full locomotion option, but no smooth turning (you have to turn in your playspace). The enemy AI is decent. They will get behind cover themselves or try to flank you. Sometimes they do dumb things like run straight at you. But the AI here is definitely better than most VR games. There's not a lot of enemy variety, but since these are 15-30 minute runs, there doesn't have to be. The gun and upgrades are just okay, at least you get grenades. There are no reloads. There's also all kinds of obstacles along the way, including a space ship with turret guns trying to mow you down. There's leaderboard for bragging rights and game is setup for local party play (take turns). Graphics were not the best, but game ran buttery smooth. Rate 6.5/10. It's mindless fun, but it's well executed here and priced correctly.

This is a low-budget fast-paced shooter in only one spaceship setting where each gaming session is timed and abruptly ends when the time is up. The main problem I had with this game is that there are WAY too enemies standing around in large groups to where it seems like there are hundreds of them everywhere. Shooting in this game also seems more like paintball than actual gunfire and enemies do not react until your final shot knocks their heads off. As far as performance, I experienced aliasing issues and lots of frame rate drops, especially when explosions occurred or too many enemies were nearby. The blaring techno music also cannot be turned down or disabled during the game, only in the menu for some reason. I also experienced crashing to the desktop during the final section of the game where there are lots of explosions and you are being shot at by spaceship turrets and an insane amount of enemies. I cannot recommend this game, as there are much better VR shooters out there.
