Everyone who calls this a Hotline Miami clone is annoying, the only thing they have in common is the camera angle?? I love everything in this game apart from the final boss, which has felt completely flat on both my playthroughs

Fun game, definitely makes you feel like a badass while playing. Beating the crap out of bad guys with (usually) just one punch is a lot of fun, and the engaging gameplay hits all the right spots. HOWEVER, half the game is feeling like a badass, the other half is raging and smashing your keyboard like a psychopath. This game makes a big deal out of it's "one-shot kill" mechanic, allowing you to send enemies flying to their deaths with one punch. But, they also added this feature for YOU, meaning there is no health system whatsoever and you can die within milliseconds if your reaction time isn't good enough. One bullet? RESTART. One punch that barely hit you? DO THE LEVEL OVER AGAIN! Which I find EXTREMELY annoying, so yes half the time you feel like a badass and the other half is wanting to whack your keyboard with a baseball bat. This game also has little to no keyboard support, so I find that rather annoying because it makes it significantly harder to control your character (which adds on to the fact that you can die in one hit). This game also has a cheap excuse for a story, although the dialogue was absolutely hilarious. My game also had all of the achievements impossible to unlock somehow, I placed through over half of the entire game without getting a single achievement (yes, I did a lot of the stuff required for cheevos!) But I must say, the gameplay is incredibly fun. Those youtubers are NOT exaggerating. Overall, great game, lives up to the hype, but it's definitely not winning any game awards any time soon.

What Hotline Miami would be if it were a good game... The game looked interesting. Yet, while playing, at first it seemed bland and and easy. After a little while, I thought I'd seen it all. Was I ever wrong. Very soon, it got better... and better. Stage after stage the developers threw genuinely new and interesting challenges my way, interspersed with easier parts. Difficulty isn't artificial in this game. I enjoyed this game WAY more than I expected.
