I've played a lot of couch games.. and this was not fun.
Like, if you really wanted to make Mario Party less fun. The sad thing is, there are so many of these sorta mini-game games that do it right. This game has the graphics.. just not the game play. Sad Panda.

It's okay I guess.
If you have friends to play with then this game might be worth buying while on sale.
I would not pay full price though.

Full controller + Steam Link support.
✔️The brief intro provided before each mini-game is PERFECTLY informative and visually appealing
✔️Clever use of new mini-games, as well as satisfying versions recycled from other games
✔️Narrator is funny
✔️Art is cute, but can be a little "busy" on screen at times
✔️Sudden changes to mini-games during play can shake things up
❌Hitboxes are unreliable; most noticeably player avatars feel too small for the environments they're in
❌Controls are adequate, but the punching left/right/up feel awkwardly placed on the controller
❌Some people may find the sudden changes during a mini-game disorienting, especially during quick play sessions at parties
❌Jumping feels stiff and rather pathetic: more like lazy hops
Summary: My gaming group said it's "alright, but we've played much better" and added "it'll probably feel like a better game if we played it again and again, but it's not as much fun as a quick pick up and play." Still, it's better than a lot I've seen and we did decide to keep it installed for "another go at it" so for now we recommend it.

Boring minigams. Game locked behind a tournament. Forces players to go through it before a 'Gauntlet' is available. The tournament is cooperative. We failed the tournament thrice and gave up.

Played this with my friends a couple of times and it doesn't successfully capitalise on its potential.
The art style is good, the voice acting is good though the writing is often cringey (would be great to have an option to turn it off), and the game show idea is good.
the main problem is that it isn't very fun. the only scenario that is consistently good is the sidescroller race (which we did laugh and enjoy). Everything else (as well as the scoring system) is WAY too simple and easy. It feels like the game is playing itself rather than you playing it. Also the in-game scoring system doesnt seem to make any sense.
This game could have been really fun with friends but simply, the gameplay needed way more testing and refinement.
