CONS
[list]
[*]Some levels can be difficult if you can't move a mouse moderately quickly
[*]I am genuinely trying to think of cons right now and I can't
[*]Wait why is this in the cons then

Actually just a good puzzle game about conveyor belts and penguins.
Listen I'll level with you I bought this game because I wanted more penguin emotes than Starbound
I kinda suck at puzzles though so I haven't played a ton. I got through like 30 levels in the 1.4 hours i played it. However, it is genuinely fun and just overall a good game.

The game has 100 really fun and challenging puzzles. Despite there being only two tools and five objects making up each level, they really squeeze the potential out of all of them and achieve depth more than breadth, and very few levels feel like repeats of previous ones.
There are a few technical flaws, like inconsistent physics making success RNG-dependent in some levels, or the timer going down while paused, but they hardly drag down the experience.
Definitely a bargain at $2. You also can't go wrong with a penguin theme.

Just fun.
After revisiting this game with a minimum of a 3 year gap, I can confirm that the game is just plain ol' fun. It runs like how it seems it should, no bugs from when I've played, and the graphics aren't half bad. The gameplay is exactly as advertised, and is different enough from level to level to keep you engaged. There are also trading cards, which is my eyes is always a bonus. For $2? I'd recommend this game to just about any of my friends. If nothing else, it's only $2, but I think they'd have fun nonetheless.

The Penguin Factory is a fun 100-level puzzle game that, in harder levels, requires a decent amount of planning ahead and good timing/execution with your mouse. Expect to restart levels many, many times while you get a grasp of what you need to do, as the pause button only stops the level from moving and not each level's timer.
I think the game is definitely worth it for the price. It also has an in depth custom level maker and workshop support built right into the game, which is pretty cool though it's not heavily utilized right now. I've beaten all the levels, and the last 7 achievements left to get will require me to re-play a decent amount of levels to grind up another 200 penguins delivered, etc, though right now this game doesn't count for the Steam profile or towards global achievement progress. I hope enough people buy the game for it to count on my steam profile someday.
Despite another review I saw, I sadly didn't see any eggnog in game :(
