Any minimalistic indie game like this should have exceptional quality of controls, and better total playability, variety of maps, difficulty of levels etc. I asked for a refund after 20 minutes of pacient gameplay..........

The platformer controls are atrocious to the point of unplayability. Other QoL issues abound everywhere. This feels like a C- school project.

Karma Miwa is for children but also for adults. I love its design and its music. It is a platformer and everybody love platformers, so, because of its cheap price, you have to buy it. You won't regret it! In Karma Miwa, you are playing two flightless birds which have only one solution to move on, jump. Through the levels, you have to find the solution that they meet each other.

For a minimalist game the controls must be perfect. They are far from it. Cute Puffins seem lifeless. Music get tedious very fast.

This game is hilariously bad. The game is cute enough but the controls are ridiculously bad. The jumping mechanic is broken, and there were times when I thought a jump was impossible without taking damage. There were numorous points of unavoidable damage. Though I will admit, the game is quite cute, and although I don't recommend it, I always had a smile on my face due to the laughable controls and countless deaths. Game 3/10, but 10/10 cute puffins. EDIT: Seems like the developer actually updated the game and the controls are much better now! Better controls and still very cute puffins

a nice little arcade game, the graphics are lovingly designed, the sound is beautiful too. With Controller it can be controlled wonderfully. Not too heavy, i like the game. edit: unfortunately I have to correct myself; It's hard and time is running out to fast :-( ein hübsches kleines Arcade Spiel, die Grafik ist liebevoll gestaltet, der Sound ist auch schön. Mit Controller läßt es sich wunderbar steuern. Nicht zu schwer, mir gefällt es. ich muss mich leider berichtigen; es IST schwer und die Zeit ist sehr knapp :-(

Please do not be fooled by the cuteness of this game. Yes the puffins are cute. And yes they do a little spindance at the end. This is a platformer that totally fails on being a platformer. It really does not give you actual total control of your jumps. You can't easily change direction especially when jumping. The whole action of this game is klunky and doesn't flow freely. You will suffer through some very easy easy levels and then when you try to jump it will fail and you will die because it sent you in the wrong direction even though you pressed where you wanted to go. Could have been a nice little cute platformer worth buying. But don't do it.

The only thing wrong with this game are the reviews... there is nothing wrong with this cute little platformer, on the contrairy, its amazing!! And if i understand correctly, the game was updated based on those reviews, so theres nothing to complain now. Hightly recommend it, 5/5, its a great game!

I won't lie...this got repetitive quick in terms of level design. It has cute graphics and I see that this game could have had potential, but it just isn't working with me in its current state. The controls are kinda wonky too.

I wanted to love this game so badly. It has so much going for it — absurdly cute graphics, fun level design, great music. But the controls were a massive nightmare and the levels were repetitive. I hemmed and hawed a lot about whether to rec this or not and ultimately put it here because I did spend so much time frustrated, but it was also enjoyable, so…? IDK. If the issues that bothered me seem minor to you, you’ll probably enjoy it and should pick it up next time it’s on sale. It’s hard to explain the problems with the controls. You can only jump a certain distance, and you can’t move while you’re in the air. This makes the precise jumping platforming requires impossible. On top of that, sometimes when you hit a wall you turn and face the other direction, and sometimes you don’t, and I couldn’t quite figure out when each happened. So you’d try to chain jump and just end up spinning and going back the way you came, usually dying. And even once I started to get used to the jump distance, I found it absurdly frustrating to have to line myself up just right (which sometimes was impossible) and then press A and cross my fingers. I also found that the controls were not sensitive enough to detect tiny movements back and forth, so a lot of time I’d try to line up a jump over and over and over only to discover that it was almost impossible to get to the exact spot I needed to be in. Worse still, the game was bad at indicating what was coming up — I often found myself getting into a rhythm only to be killed by a baddie just offscreen that there was no way I could have anticipated. This is the worst kind of difficultly in a platformer. But even once I got used to that and got through the first set of levels, I was disappointed to find the other three locked level sets were just the same ones with fewer checkpoints and/or more baddies. So the game was actually only 25% as big as I thought it was, which was super disappointing. Yet I kept playing it. There’s something oddly relaxing about it right up until it gets frustrating. I found myself playing in 10-minute spurts — I’d clear a level, hit a point I couldn’t get past for 5 minutes, quit in frustration, do something else for an hour, and then start over. The game had all the elements of something I liked, but just couldn’t follow through. And it’s so sad, because I want it to work so badly, but ultimately it just couldn’t get its shit together for long enough.
