The only game on steam that has a soul. I hope the devs have a nice life.

---Update:
After the developers responded to this review I tried playing the game again. The initial bugs I experienced did not seem to be a problem this time around. I actually found myself enjoying the game now that everything works as it should.
While I still am not very impressed with the puzzles in this game, I am changing my review from Negative to Positive. The look of the game gives it enough pizzazz to be an enjoyable time-killer even if it falls short as a problem-solving challenge.
---Original Review:
Sadly, while this game looks great, and its fun to putter around the puzzles (even if they are not terribly challenging), it is very very buggy. The mouse will get stuck in the 'up' direction, the menu bogs down the game for some reason, and when it glitches you can't alt-tab out of it. Frustrating experience for a game meant to be a casual diversion.

Got surprised for the excellent quality, Superb and original Graphics and excellent puzzles, not difficult enough nor too easy and boring.
I`ve bought it in the last winter sale but would have paid the normal price.

I enjoyed this game very much. It's something that I could pick up and play for a minute or two and not have to get super involved in puzzle solving. Sadly, I ran into a bad level where it was impossible to create the block bridge in order to escape/finish the level.
I recommend this game if it's on sale because it is fun to play, as long as you don't get stuck in a glitch or bad design.

Im having so much fun with this game so far i recently bought it and i think its great. I love the graphics and music although it would be nice if the music was constant only because i think if fits in so well with the game and when its not playing there is a loss of atmosphere. Check out my gameplay of genius greedy mouse and see for yourself what this game is about, i promise my gameplay is top quality haha thank you! :)

Edit:
There are still a couple of things that could be improved with this game, but after playing the puzzle levels (rather than the maze ones), it has been much more enjoyable and what I was explecting from this game.
I still haven't had a chance to get very far, but I feel like I can recommend this game now - Just make sure your difficulty is set correctly (Genius or gtfo :P) so that you can earn all the stars. Speaking of which, I seem to be able to get all the starts in one run now (after changing my difficulty, which had reset to light, back to genius), not sure if dev fixed something there or it was to do with the mazes.
I found the maze levels not very enjoyable and they seem a bit pointless (I guess they're more like an extra feature), so I'm glad the dev moved the start point (I honestly wasn't expecting a change to be made based on what I had said, so thanks again for that) and hopefully anyone else playing won't encounter those as their first experience of the game.
I still think it's a shame about the music; we need more!
**Original Review**
Not impressed so far.
No introduction or indication of where to start; you are just there. so I wandered to the nearest hole, then another hole and then another to get into a collect the cheese maze....
I don't like being zoomed in so far and it's tedious to have to stop and use the zoom out to see a decent range. Music....where'd it go? It was nice and then it was over all too soon; not even looped and no other tracks it seems.
locked at 30fps to start... found option for "up to 60" but it just tears and seems to perform poorly. I guess that's why it was locked in the first place. Not really a big deal for this type of game and i can possibly fix that with some tweaking, but it's just adding to my not impressed feeling.
Haven't encountered any puzzles so far, just mazes, so i'm hoping the puzzles will make it more interesting and I'll change my review.
Also, why must I do the levels twice to get all the stars? and why are there a number cheeses that are impossible to get to? i.e. the only access to them is over the exit, but of course going over that exits the level...
Game feels like it needs a little more work on it (which i doubt is going to happen), but hopefully the puzzles, which is what I bought i for, will redeem it.

Cons: This game became more boring and tedious the longer I played it. Puzzles are easy and mindless. (with a few exceptions) Nothing is really explained to you when you first start the game. You immediatley jump right into the game. This would've been fine, but the hub is such an unorganized mess and is can be really confusing to navigate. The game would've worked a lot better if it just had a normal level select. It also would've been nice to know how to get four stars on a stage. I would sometimes get all the cheese on a stage and get only 2 stars. The "music" (Music being only one song) has a mind of it's own and plays whenever it feels like.
Pros: The art style is cute, but the game constantly reuses the same background and assets, making it a bore to look at. Could've done with a variety of background designs to change things up. When the puzzles do become challenging (which is not often) its lets the player experiment with the puzzle and gives them time to think. There is no rush to finish a puzzle, except for certian levels that contain rising water, which are easly the worst levels in the game. The controls are fine and work well. The mechanics the game introduces every now and then, like missles or wierd pacman creatures, are interesting but get boring once they appear in every level.
Conclusion: If you are a 10 year old child and haven't played a puzzle game in your life, I would reccommend this to you because of it's easy difficulty and simple mechanics. I would also reccommend this to anyone who wants to sit down and relax and play a simple game for an hour or so. I would not reccommend this to anyone looking for a puzzle game that requires the use of brain cells. It is too easy and doesn't offer enough challenge to keep players interested. Not a terrible game by any means, but I would never return to it again.

This is an enjoyable game, which is free or has little cost, should the DLC be bought ,and can be played by all ages, down to a child able to handle an input device or giving an adult 'help' with finding cheese and avoiding traps.

This is a game for lovers of mazes, block-pushing and item manipulation. It is a puzzle game based on the old BBC & Amiga XOR maze challenge for anyone who may remember it from years ago. For those who don't remember XOR think Repton, Boulderdash, Chips Challenge but with emphasis on forward planning to solve the puzzles.
The graphics are really nice and well animated and the levels are challenging once you have completed the tutorial and maze sections.
There is no level editor sadly (but maybe the Developer will add one?) which is a shame as there is so much potential here!
All in all a very good puzzle game with retro styled mechanics which provide a good challenge.

This looks like a fun puzzle game. Sadly, most of the work on this game went into making pretty clay shapes.
The game is really boring (pun not intended). Even with the difficulty ramped up to "genius" (yes, I tried the non-maze levels which were supposed to be harder) it isn't a challenge. Levels are randomized rather than fixed, so it's a stretch to call these puzzles. The first and second sets of maze levels take forever to complete, and it doesn't correctly award you a star once you do, so there isn't any way to open any of the maze levels past the first two sets. And to get all the points for each maze, you have to beat it at least twice! If you beat it four times, you don't even need to collect cheese to get all the stars. Just find the exit four times and you've hit top score.
In essense, the creator took something that looks vaguely like a puzzle game and instead of writing actual puzzles, greated a random generator to do it. They didn't even take the time to generate the puzzles and playtest them individually to see which ones worked. They just generate the puzzles on the fly, which most of the time are solvable (sometimes in multiple ways, and on occasion not at all), and the only "puzzle" part is jumping through hoops to reach the end. Despite a number of game elements that look interesting and do novel things, there isn't any challenge to using them and most of the game elements don't interact with most of the other game elements.
I'm sad that I wasted five bucks on this. If you enjoy puzzles this is not the game for you. I'm not sure who this game is for, to be honest. Maybe young children? I'm not even certain they'd enjoy it.
