What do you mean Asami Imai is in this game? WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S A MAIN ROMANCE?

The first half of this game is so boring, that the second half of this game doesn't make up for it. I geninuely almost quit playing five times through the first three chapters because nothing happens in them. Except the most annoying form of foreshadowing where characters keep going "Oh if only you knew" and such. Way too much of the most interesting character traits and dynamics are hidden behind the final reveals of the story and honestly huge parts of the second chapter are literally just filler. I will admit the second half of this game is at least interesting, but not enough that I'd recommend it, not when there are better VNs Also, just gonna be real, I don't like the romances in this VN! They all have crazy bad chemistry. In every single relationship, ultimately the reason they're together is because "Wow you remind me of something that happened in my past". This is every characters justification for liking Asuka in every route- and in my opinion if you even have to explain why two characters like each other. Then you've failed! The story operates with the assumption that two cute girls justifies itself- which isn't true for a 10+ hour romance VN. In a good romance; two character would feel inherently made for each other; their feelings would justify themselves. But in even an okay romance they'd share hobbies or something. They've got nothing here, except the same school. I get why people like this story, don't get me wrong. The endings are straight up diabolical, and you know what? I love how with every ending you understand the character interactions and entire plot of the story more and more! Asuka is a great narrator; funny, personable, just the right amounts of quirky and horny to maintain humor but also not get on your nerves. Seriously, when was the last time any form of media had a horny MC that wasn't super fucking annoying?? There's definitely an "along for the ride" feeling that eventually carried me through the rest of the novel and I actually really enjoy VNs that are willing to take you for one. It's not enough though- the beginning of this game is complete filler! It's like a really boring slice of life anime with really boring underdeveloped characters, until five hours into the VN. Were the reveals really so good that we just couldn't afford to develop the cast into more than their archetypes until the end??? Did all of the best parts of the game really need to be buried at the end? I don't think so. In fact, I'd go as far as say that its giving huge whiplash effect at the end, and maybe a few of the more dramatic plot twists would come across better stretched across the game. I can think of at least one that really tested my suspension of disbelief. If you have incredible patience, more than me, for really slow slice of life stories and bad pacing, then you'll probably enjoy this. If you don't like wincing you'd better avoid this- there's a lot of cringe humor, an aggressively off-putting sistercon route, some really dark endings. I know with a title like "Nurse Love addiction" it seems vanilla. But reading this VN is agreeing to be constantly jump-scared by the most random, off-the-wall fetishes. If you've read all this and still want to read it, I'd recommend you do it blind.
