There's an unfixed glitch that makes the screen go dark. There is no patch. I'd wait for the patch.

strategic character grow, materials simplicity, combat oriented - that's good constant internet connection - that's bad

great strategy game. fun relaxing and something you can put down can come back to.

Long story short: Good Ideas, very good graphics for 2011, the game itself is fun for like 20-30 hours. Its worse then the other games of the saga (other then HoMM 4 of corse) but YOU CAN LAUNCH IT. yes you can i know there where comments on ubisoft launcher but you just need to make an acc and check remember me. Then it will always launch from Steam unless you have no WIFI. anyways, dont buy the game if its your first of the HoMM saga but i would recommend to buy it when its on sale, it will be woth the price. I also had all the DLC content and weapons on max, so just buy it if you want to.

Yes I would recommend this game to other especially if they have played Heroes of Might and Magic games before. Enjoy it.

I know this one has a bad reputation, but it still can just suck me in and make me lose track of time.

Too difficulkt to install this via Steam. You have to install Ubisoft packages and a Ubisoft account - after PC Restet and Reinstalling of Steam and this game, cannot be started because Ubisoft doesnt recognize my Ubisoft Account and denies the game code. Support doesnt answer.... Id rather stay with HOMM V (that said, both HOMM 6 and 7 lack the variety in heroes and castles compared to HOMM v...)

Heroes 6 - A game not given enough credit. I've been playing Heroes games for many years, throughout my time of loving 3,4 and 5 I've been told away to stay away from 6, but after years of hearing this I decided to give it a try while it was on sale and I must say on sale this game is so worth buying. If you are like me, content starved of Heroes and you just want to play more (especially the campaign) Heroes 6 is quite a good experience, It feels like a reskin of Heroes 5 with some different features to make it feel fresher. Yes there are differences between the other Heroes games like the Garrision feature or you being able to recruit from 1 town/garrision a week but in my experience these help spice the game up compared to the others, if all Heroes games were the same they would not be nearly as fun. Overall this game is worth buying, maybe not full price but on sale 100% recomended, it runs fine and it plays good.

dont buy this game. in the age of win 11 the game is not working. if read several blackscrren stuff, but i formaself had a transparent game (so no visuals but if i stremed the game on dc for ppl, others could see it for some odd reason). thers no reason to buy it other than trying to fix it if ur into masochist things. play the 5th way better or the 7th (fells still like a cashgrab from uby cuz its buggy and not even finished) by the way u need hamatchi, gameranger or something else to play it with ppl, cuz they pulled the plug on online services on this game
