For now Thumbs down. Its not as good looking as the Librarian game and the detail almost feels copy paste with frame rate drop here and there.

Finished the game. Not as good as the arcane library, but still satisfying. A few bugs, could not sprint for some reason. Seems like a pretty simple asset flip, but I still enjoyed it.

So I was actually looking forward to this game but saw the reviews when it appeared on Steam. I thought to myself "Wait, it can't be that bad, right?" and purchased it anyways.
OH BUT IT CAN.
Your movement speed is set so high that you're constantly running through the store. Good luck picking up items that way.
Items, while being placed, often get stuck in the shelves. I did not complete a playthrough but I'm sure that could potentially be extremely frustrating if it happens near the end of a run.
Refunded.

I found the game alright, nothing too fancy. This game is similar to Librarian but with a lot less polish.
Pros:
+ Game didn't crash on me, granted my computer is higher spec than most
+ Multiple skills to make the gameplay go by quicker
+ Music wasn't annoying
+ Game is cheap
Issues:
- Some of the choices of where items go in aisles are weird
- Jumping and Crouching are locked until you unlock them in the skill tree
- The supermarket random facts, aren't related to supermarkets most of the time
- Alot of the items are tiny like yougurt and majority of the fruit, so you need to be quite accurate with your mouse. I doubt this game would be fun to play with a controller
- Sprint doesn't work, the sound plays but you stay the same speed
- Two of the pasta items use the same model but are two different items
- The throw magnet skill doesn't work on the fruit aisles, thrown items just goes straight through the shelves
- You get stars after filling in entire rows to spend on gacha atms, it's not worth it to spend on the cheaper ones because the pull rates are bad, just pull on the most expensive one with a 95% win chance
- Outside of throwing items, there are no physics, items just float in the air
- No replay value, and achievements you'll get them all just by playing the game, no achievements encourage replaying
- When you finish the game you get to throw the robot that caused all the mess. There's no sound. effects or any real impact when you throw it, very unsatisfying
If you're just looking for a game that's similar to Librarian, then this will entertain you for a few hours, otherwise skip this game.

I do like this game, I'll start by saying that. I just feel as though its a bit rushed, the sprint upgrade unfortunately does not work and theres no crouching or jumping. (Played for 5 minutes after writing this and found there is an upgarde for crouching and jumping thankfully it was just hidden)
I spent a good 10 minutes trying to put bread on the bread shelf, only to realise it goes on the breakfast/sweet shelf.
For $7 though this game is worth it, you pay what you get, I just hope they tweak the game a bit in future.

After playing Librarian and realizing I really liked the aspect of putting things away (😂😂) I was sad to not really find another game like it. So happy this came out! Relaxing and for $5 can’t beat it!

If you played Librarian, you now the game loop. Same thing, but a supermarket instead. To be fair, Librarian has a bit more 'charm', but this will scratch that itch for sure. For $5 its an easy 'yes' if you're a collectathon/organize kinda gamer.

As someone with 56 hours in the Librarian tidying game (don't judge me!) this game falls short of it's promise. Even at the sale price of ~$5, it doesn't really have replay value nor does have the polish I expect of a game like this.
Issues:
- Categorizations don't make sense, nor do item counts. Crab legs are in the dairy section, not meat, while there are two sets of most bottles of liquor...except for the Grand Mariner. This makes sorting the items on shelves in a visually pleasing way basically impossible.
- Assets are the same as in many free iOS games. These assets are also in the game Supermarket Simulator. While it's understandable to purchase assets, this choice, after playing Librarian with its unique books and custom-sized shelves, falls flat.
- Boosts are unlocked by spending "stars" you earn from successfully filling shelves...but you have to "spin" for them and it's not guaranteed. Meaning if you run out of shelves to stock, you run the risk of not getting all the upgrades as you can't earn more stars.
- There was no tutorial for how to access the upgrade menu. I just pressed a bunch of buttons until I figured it out (it's ESC...which feels counterintuitive).
- Physics are lacking and items don't really fall with weight.
Maybe I'm being picky for a $5 game, but there are SO many games that cost the same and are replayable. This doesn't have the same "magic" as other games in the genre. It's too bad, I was looking forward to another chaos cleanup game.

It just feels really low effort. There is no charm, no fun names of things, no little easter eggs to be found under the piles, the sections are weird (what do you mean sandwich bread doesn't go in the bread section?), and the optimization isn't really there. The achievements don't even compel you to play more than once.
With Librarian, I was quickly and easily sucked in, dropping 15 hours on my first no magic playthrough (spread between 3 sessions). This game though, I don't really feel anything for. I put in a little over 2 hours so I can't return it, so I guess I'll finish it and then I'll probably never touch it again.
I guess you could argue that they successfully captured the bland, soullessness that is retail. And the music is ok I guess.
Edit: Refund was granted

The game runs very poorly and is incredibly low effort with several completely lazy oversights by the dev. The game is made up entirely of simple assets that you could find in literally every other supermarket style game without any care or consideration for how a supermarket would actually function. Sections in the store include: "toilets" for toiletries, breakfasts/sweets, not to be confused with tea/candies which does not include candies but rather baking goods. Candies are found in aisle "breakfasts/sweets", naturally. There is also a ramen aisle, a Bento aisle, and a "bread aisle" which is conveniently NOT where any non-convenience store breads go, that is "breakfasts/sweets". There is an "iT" aisle in the middle of the store as well as a "books aisle" and "home decor aisle", all of which make 0 sense. Pasta/condiments includes all other shelf stable assets that the dev dumped in.
Words mean nothing in this game, no thought and intentions were included and this is an obvious cash grab to get into a developing market around games where you exclusively sort objects like was popularized in Librarian. Look, I paid 5CAD for this game and it was okay money to waste on this game but I absolutely do not recommend anyone buys this lazy, unoptimized, unoriginal, cash grab of a game.
