A very [u]fun game[/u] that i finished.
[h1]Pros:[/h1]
- Adrenaline Racer
- Cool racing modes for the Racer Career
- Can play cop or racer
- Cool cars
- Nice routes that are night/day. Through rain/snow/sand etc. There are some very charming chill races at night through a storm, those are really memorable.
- Has the option to play as a Cop but can be a double edged sword.
- Totally worth it if you want an adrenaline racer with 0 story -> which is better.
- Worth it, mix of old school and new school. A must play Need for Speed that is the classic game.
- Game can be completed as Racer only or as Cop only if you prefer only a style of racing. Or you can complete the game with both like i did.
- You can get 40 hours of gameplay in order to get gold medals for all the races 78/78 on Racer side and 63/63 on the Cop side. In total you have 141 races which can take from 2 minutes to 10 minutes and you might replay a lot of times.

- Has some annoying race modes like Gauntlet or harder Hot Pursuits races but 80% of the game/races are reallly good.
- I also didnt like the cops races that much but its still very fun as the racer.

I like the Need For Speed but not the Hot Pursuit.
As a casual arcade racer fan I think its a solid game. It is from 2010 but i think the graphics are not bad. The driving is fun, its got plenty of cool cars and the drifting is easy.
Playing as the cops, and running from the cops isn't very fun for me. I still played the levels and finished the game I just don't find the mechanic that fun.
Granted "Hot Pursuit" is in the title so this is kind of like that meme:
Bag in fridge is labeled: "dead dove do not eat". Man opens bag anyways, sees dead dove and says "I don't know what I expected"
It's a good game I just like making the cars go vroom.
