Playing Descent with an Overloard always ended in a fight. Road to Legend allows for a full coop game and it is Fantastic!

Outstanding App that goes along with the board game. Fun solo or with friends. If you have Descent 2nd edition sitting around the house its time to open it up and start playing. The best thing about this is that you get one free campain if you only have the base game but if you have Shadow of Nerekhall expansion there is another campain to play that is also free. There is one paid DLC campain, "The Delve" which I have not played but if it is anything like Fire and Shadows free campains, it would be totally worth it.

This is a must for every Descent owner. 20+ hours of game play for a campaign. Dengeon crawler feelings. No progress data sheet. The bad is that I cannot be an overlord.

Brilliant Game. I was playing Descent without the app with my wife but it didn't seem to balance that well between the overlord and heroes. Now we can both just be heroes and the computer deals with the overlord part. Made the game so much more fun.

After spending ages trying to find a local co-op game on PC for us to play, I stumbled across this and bought the base box. If you are even slightly interested in RPG games with progression, characters, and co-op, I can't recommend this enough. We're soon to buy our first expansion pack (not needed, but adds to the replayability), and can't wait.

Very much worth it, even if all you have is the base game of Descent. Make sure you pick up The Delve DLC, particularly good experience for people who want to avoid playing the Overlord and like the random, potentially-never-the-same dungeon crawl.

Note: This only works with the board game. This is an amazing app that turns the board game into an amazing fully co-op dungeon crawl. With Delve and the New campaign using the Nerekhall expansion they have addressed every concern that I had with the initial release. It was fun at release and has only gotten better. Now there is a real reason to own all the expansions. RPG "Feel" of new campaign in Nerekhall is a great addition as well.

Descent: Road To Legend, is an absolute gem and shining example of the potential technology and board games can create together. With a team of up to 4 players you can play through either the short tutorial campaign, or the expansive Kindred Flame quest, which can be experienced over a session lasting days! with a convenient save feature and Exp/Item Tracker so you can pick up from where you left off anytime! Each Quest in Descent is a challenging experience which will put your teamwork and strategy to the test with randomly generated enemies and encounters that can keep you on your feet the whole time around, your mettle will be tested but it is a rewarding experience after all the hard work! However the games flaws can mainly be player induced, the lack of certain features can lead to some frustrating scenarios. If somehow you may have jumped the gun and mis clicked, the game does not have an undo system of any kind so you will be stuck with any mistakes you have made. so make sure you have somebody aware and not clumsy at the helm of the app! Perphaps another minor flaw is that the entire game requires alot of reading, which can pause progress signifcantly and effect game flow, i feel like an option for a narrator would not go amiss! as the Quest Introductions demostrate some pretty decent voice acting! And one which makes me kind of wish the characters were speaking within the game for immersions sake! Though this is more a personal opinion then a game flaw. Overall: If your a fan of Dungeon Delving, with a level of sadism where you love a challenge Descent is the game for you, though if you have a bad team this game may present alot of frustration for you. it can still be a fun time none the less.
