I waited so long for a Deathclaw pet. I spent countless hours searching for one to tame in the wasteland, only to stumble across a Mirelurk King I've had going on 2 years now. I see this bundle and know I shouldn't, it's super greedy locking it behind a 30 dollar paywall....but I love my Grimclaw and he is my big murderous baby now.

He/She is as clingy as any of the pets. He'll climb steps and sit and watch you sleep or just daze out the front door for scorched.
I have him in an elevated Anvil cabin outside of Helvetia, south of the town just over the bridge.

quick edit; why does it have...wh- ..????
...remember when they could figure out how to add companion pets as it would interfere with server performance.,
or they just didnt seem pertinent at the time. guess for only $30 the problem goes away

I love big Deathclaws and I cannot lie.
And don't have to worry for this one to suddenly disappear like the last one I tamed not long ago.

Not my greatest financial decision... I do wish it could defend you're camp and kill enemies but Hopfully it will pay off later when pets will be able to follow you around the whole map and kill enemies together, whenever that update releases that is. very cool to have around the camp but very Useless xD also alot smaller than normal deathclaws

I’ve wanted a Deathclaw pet forever. My Wasteland Whisperer Deathclaws have always died, disappeared, or otherwise broken my heart, so I was the easiest person in the world to sell this to.
But honestly? This is not what I was hoping for.
And yes, haha, “I too am bad at spending money,” but I genuinely regret not boycotting this one. Historically, pets have cost around 1500 Atoms or been part of a season scoreboard, something attainable for people who actively play the game, even if they don’t have extra cash for micro/MACROtransactions.
Locking a highly requested pet like this behind a much more expensive bundle feels greedy and disappointing. It feels like a betrayal of the fanbase’s most loyal players. Could have been a two week challenge reward - let us earn it.
For those wondering:
The Deathclaw sleeps in a broken cage like a little baby
It is relatively small.
It does not attack enemies at your CAMP like some lite allies do.
It frequently teleport-spawns directly onto your character, blocking your view.
The included armor is basically two types of shoulder pads. It does not meaningfully change the silhouette, and the Deathclaw is not fully armored. It is barely noticeable.
Other players cannot see your pet’s name, which is a huge missed opportunity. Bring back the Brahmin naming system from caravans!
And worst of all, the Deathclaw still does not have a pretty pink bow. Smh. (joke... unless?)
I love the idea of a Deathclaw pet. I do not love how this was handled.
